I just noticed the curator is Dr. Kilroy from the Adventurers sets. Such a cool detail, and makes sense for his character to step into that kind of role.
Awesome set Designer interviews are always great Not sure about the color choice What were the other two color options? Also why forest men? Its technically part of the Castle thene
I have mixed feelings about the interior of the Museum. I envisioned a whole Egyptian section with mummies and statues. A precious gems section with a lot of translucent crystals. It's nice to have the dinosaur, but I also thought a woolly mammoth or giant sloth would have been appropriate. It just seems that there were a lot of missed opportunities in this modular that we have waited so long for. I'll buy it of course, but only because I buy ALL the modulars. I hope they do a better job with the Hospital we also all want.
The more stuff they add, the more it's going to cost. if they don't want people complaining about the price then they have to cut corners somewhere unfortunately.
How would they fit all of this though? I think you might be asking for too much here. They would almost need two modular systems for that to happen with what we already are being given.
@@Conrad45 I'm thinking, they could leave out the minifig heads - (or maybe have Egyptian death masks instead) or perhaps, have a third floor like almost every other modular has. There could be solutions. And as far as cost is concerned - I think Lego fans are getting used to paying $400-$600+ for many sets at this point.
@coppertopolo I mean, I definitely understand your arguement if the set was more expensive but it's just not that expensive. I understand the want for more but I feel like what we're getting isn't inheritetly bad yknow? But I understand your arguement.
The Museum costs 399,000 Korean won (tax is included in the price) which comes out to about 295 USD. In the US, the cost of this set is $299.00 + tax. In NYC it would be about $26 in taxes. So as I commented in your Lego Korea video, the Lego store prices in Korea aren’t necessarily much higher as your suggested and in fact, sometimes cheaper than in the US. Perhaps licensed sets are more expensive in Korea but I haven’t checked.
I know the designers lined this museum up with the newer Modular's to choose a fresh color... but I simple do not like the amount of olive on the exterior 🤢
no offense the color selection looks like a holloween building not museum and the lego designer need helps, I'm suprised with endless pieces designs are becoming less appealing
I LOVE this interview style behind-the-scenes look at new sets. I'm so excited for this modular!
Love the use of the Indiana Jones whip piece for the ammonite fossil!
A great GWP or VIP Pack would be an extra exhibit that you could rotate with an existing exhibit
That would be awesome!! I think the GWP with it is a truck, but now I wish it was an extra exhibit!
Awesome interview and preview of the Museum ❤

I never knew how much I wanted this. This set would be perfect for my Ninjago City and future animations
Right?! It's the perfect Ninjago Museum of History
Woohoo! Another Chris McVeigh design! I've been following him since he was still posting as "Power Pig"
He’s so talented!!
Brilliant video and supurb insight with interviewing the designer. More videos would be very welcome with these style of interviews.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed! More is on the way!
Awesome job Duck! I wonder how many interviews McVeigh had to do that day? I saw a similar but different one.
I think he and a lot of the other designers had to do a ton! We had a rotating schedule
Love it! Definitely plan on getting this after. I've gotten a few other sets I need first.
Awesome set

I saw you driving around in a mclaren in Vancouver the other day! Tried to say hello
I wish that was me! Sadly I do not own a McLaren (although that sure would be nice) nor do I live in Vancouver 😂

You could certainly use Egyptian headpieces or mummy heads in place of the minifig bust sections. You can turn the microbuilds into pyramids, etc

Is it a reason this will come out December 1st instead of the normally January 1st?
I guess Lego is wanting to capitalize on Christmas sales? It’s certainly super interesting!
@@DuckBricks I was thinking that could be one of the reasons. But anyway, cool to get it a bit earlier 👍
Be careful duckbricks! We don’t want you getting banned permanently from LAN 😢
Love the little poop jar inside the set. Too bad it does not come scented.
LoL 😅😂 may be scratch and sniff. Sticker s in Lego parts .could be a. Good thing lol.
Didn’t you upload this a little earlier? Or am I dreaming?
Yep! Noticed a mistake with the video so I took it down and reuploaded
What was joke/comment about the map?

I like the exterior of this build but I was disappointed with the displays inside. I’ll pass on this one.

the dino is pretty lame imo, the tail looks like the fifth leg lol
