I have the same cockpit and the C5 and the 15DDWB. You dont have to use the clamp if you have a rig as it will mount directly to it (you may have to drill if the holes don't line up with what you have). Also, you don't have to launch games via the Cammus software. You can, of course but it's not required. It is good to have the software running in the background tho. Great review! Keep it up. Both feel awesome when racing this is more aimed at the budget end of the market but if money wasn't an issue I'd probably go for the Moza R12 as I quite like having a choice of wheels and being able to quickly swap using the quick release.

I got the Logitech G923 as Fanatec couldn't deliver on their immediately available bundle. Right now, these bargain DD deals are like unicorns, only available to RUclipsrs only.
C12 @fatt_mox87 I have the c5 and just to add to the video, you do not NEED the table clamp, you can use the 2 T brackets that are included to hard mount to a rig plate (I have next level racing gt lite pro) I just had to use a couple washers to prop it up a but so I could connect the cables. You can also hard mount the table bracket using the included screws so you don't have to use the table clamp.
C12 @afrotonder The c12 sounds overall amazing but cammus should really try to make at least ONE of their wheels console compatible. Would love to play GT7 with a c5 or c12!

Make no sense the C5 boundle cost 330 euros and cammus charge 85 euros for shiping from spain to portugal that is insane its not so diferent from fanatec so its like the price its low in base but the rest is just insane if i order from china is 184 euros almost the price of the wheel i was hyped to buy this bundle but with all this bad shipment organization i really dont think it worth the money, because its simply not cheap as they say and in the end of the day you will be stuck with the same wheel better to pay bit more and have the chance to upgrade, i think if they organize the wherehouses and charge the fair ammount of money to ship i was def buying. conclusion they are making money with shiping coasts and in the end you get scamed...

Absolute heap of shit. The Cammus software doesn't recognize the base so you can't calibrate or fine tune the way the wheel works. The LC100 brake pedal wasn't recognized i either AMS2 or ACC. Buy at your own peril.

I got one more question I own a g29 and its fine i guess but you said there is the issue that it has some kind of stutter similar to the g923 true force. Is it in a way that it makes the noises or just the small jitterly movements? I don't know how to describe what I mean does that make sense? For context when I use my g29 the whole house can hear the gears moving from these smaller suddle movements and everyone keeps complaining.
Was hesitant on the C5 because of its looks. Would the C12 be too much power coming from the G29? I guess I can turn down the power. Also, sleeping__dog ; C12 (that was two underscores)

the fan looks identical (one says 12 volt, the other says 24 volt). i wonder why the connector is different maybe its the difference in power supply, or maybe they just too lazy ... or maybe you didn t look closely while filming, then didn't notice while editing

You just install their software and the is a list of compatible games and if you have the game installes you launch from that interface.

I use my CSL DD 8nm on max all the time. For circuit racing I would like a good bit more force, but for rally and trucks it works pretty well.

If you upgrade at some point, start with the pedals first. Thrustmaster T-LCM is a good option.
