This is the best live cd recording of sos in japan. It sounds like a studio recording. What matter most with sos is even if they reaarange the version of thier songs it sounds even.better to anybodys ear even if your skin color is brown like me yellow black or white. I have 2000long playing albums fr the 50s 60s 70s,n early eightys. Im so sad I only explored thier songs this pandemic!!!this group is so talented.I cant express all the best adjectives to describe them!!!! I like all thier versons. Hope they keep on posting even thier rehearsals bec it makes life uplifting despite this devilish pandemic. My name is raffy villanueva 72summers from mla philippines.
So blessed to have caught them a few years ago at the araneta. Sadly the place was only around 70% full. Poor promotions I guess. I rank SOS up there with Steely Dan. Great contemporary music.

I'm actually glad that after 'Breakaway' Swing out Sister veered off into a more Jazz/Pop genre of music. Breakout was o.k but a bit poppy for my liking

Corrine gives an absolutely stellar vocal performance during the final couple of minutes of Notgonnachange. I mean she is positively flying.

This was actually recorded in the Jazz café in London (I was there!). Superbly Live sound.
