Great and informative video! I'm planning to purchase the dual filter tray along with a circular polarizer, enabling me to use both my variable ND filter and the circular polarizer together. I'm even thinking about adding a 4x5.7 mist filter to my collection. I really appreciate this system because it's budget-friendly, professional, and user-friendly. The capability to use three filters like that is incredibly interesting and cool!
Yes I plan to do some sample video with these filters. I’m going to do a video like this one on 4x5.65 filters and then I will test the quality of the filters.
Thanks for the video! Do you have experience with both vaxis irnd and newer tilta’s own fsnd? If you have tried both, could you share your opinion on how they compare?
I do have a couple of the older Vaxis Irnds, but none of the new Tilta fsnds. I found minimal color shift with the irnds, is what I could say for now. But, I would like to circle back to this topic in the future. The only video I have on filter quality is on diffusion filters, for now.
@@minneappledan so i have vnd w stepup adapter for lens. I just bought a polarizer adjustable. Also bought circular dual filter thing its square. What am i missing?🫣nevermind. I guess i need the matte box.Thank You
I tested with my 24-70 gm ii this morning (my widest focal length). From 24-35mm I got very noticeable vignetting, then it was gone by 36mm. This was with 2 95mm filters. Tilta does state vignetting occurs at 35mm and below on the mirage overview page, so I’m glad they were being transparent about it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments. Glad you liked the video. I’ve got a few more videos planned on the Mirage! Overall it’s a great system!
Thanks for the video. Since you have all those various filters and trays, is there any way you can do a quality test to see how well it works?

You’re most welcome! It was tough to cover the details and not make the script too wordy - but I tried 😀.
