Hey lovely video, so these Plouise coloured bases are purely to use under the eyeshadow. So if you're using the yellow base, and you put yellow eyeshadow on top, it'll make the yellow eyeshadow stand out more, the base drys tacky purely for the eyeshadow to stick on top. They're not meant to be used without putting an eyeshadow on top. However, the actual paints are to use alone and dry down matte and don't need to be set with an eyeshadow, hope this helps x

The colored bases are actually meant to be put on bare skin so you have to wipe off where you want to cut the crease (that's why you see people using the vaseline trick) and then you apply the colored paints and they dry matte

@jerry create your own base.Girl there are to many bases out there with confusing formulas. I personally love the Mac painterly pot.I put little oil in them to make the formula less stiff. it makes every look I create come out smooth.Hope that helped😬
