The coke bottle would have been filled with Coca Cola supposedly. They came in a six pack on a toy truck. They were first made in 1924. Yours likely dates from the early 30's. I had a neighbor who was born in 1913. She said that she remembered seeing these in stores around 1930 and that they contained a syrup and were a candy container.
There was one of those trucks with the 6 pack of Cokes in a little wooden crate that I always played with when I spent the weekend with my grandmom. An AMAZING flood of memories just grabbed me.
Hello. Me again. I was the one who mistakenly put pig boy as my favorite. I finally remembered it was side step adventures. They check old grave yards and abandoned homes and churches. They are from Georgia. Sorry for the mix up. I love watching your channel.
Good to see you digging Brandon! Love the little bottle.if you come across a singer oil bottle let me know when you post it .I would love to buy it. Great dig! Loved all the deck bottles.
Great hunt y'all! The water levels have been up and the clarity low in Murfreesboro. With that said, that creek you saw still may have some goods. I drive around a lot and look for waterways to do some detecting in while possibly finding some bottles. There is a ton of creeks here like there is all through the south.
I have one of the miniature Coke bottles in my collection. It was given to me in the late 1970s. I had one as a kid and it was lost and when I was digging bottles regularly back in the 70s it was on the top of my bucket list. I believe they were made in the 1920s as advertisement. Awesome find. They are out there but relatively rare. Congratulations!
5:50 That is the cutest little bottle, I sure would like to see it after you clean it all up, you guys killed on the Cobalt once again. Double thumbs up. Edit: lol never mind, Seconds after I commented you showed it cleaned up hahaha
I have got to say, I just discovered your channel (I’m in Britain) and I think your videos are excellent! You all possess the same huge enthusiasm for antique bottles that I have had my whole life. I first started digging in 1981 age 11! I’m 54 now and I’m going out very soon to hand dig an undug Scottish Borders bottle dump. Absolutely loving watching you guys! And I REALLY like those Hutchinson coke bottles! 👍🇬🇧 god bless America!👍🇺🇸
Mother Load alright - wow - looks like some Rare Bottles - You hit a Sweet Spot Digging - We have 5 of these very small Advertising Coke Bottles from the 1950,s ! You all had a Fantastic Time ! Many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Adventure Archaeology theme song They're some good ole' boys, just having some fun, not on the run, not selling some corn, just digging bottles since the days they was born
Nice finds Brandon! That small coke could possibly be from one of the Marx toy coke trucks or from the sample sizes that were given away at early "sock hops" in the late 40's and early to mid 50's.... maybe? Nice finds all around! Take care, be safe and God bless!
I live in Wilkes County Georgia which was the 1st settlement in Georgia. lots of history here. Give me a shout if you ever want to come check our spots. Have a couple cool ones.
My dad had a Coke bottle like the little one you found. It was part of a toy truck set. He was born in 1926 to give you an approximate age and lived in North Central Texas at the time.
The silver pieces appear to be the two haves of a vanity compact. It would have contained powder, rouge and maybe a tiny lipstick. Very popular in the 1920s. I have two. And I love the tiny coke bottle!
Good to see you went to the barber for the New Year :-) Wishing you and yours health and happiness for the new year and great finds of course ! Greetz from overseas !
Brandon I found my first bottle from my home town of Dadeville but it was a embossed dairy bottle Pinkston dairy it was cool to find to be embossed from a small town dairy farm
When I was a little girl my friend’s dad worked for coke and we played with the smallest miniature coke bottle you found today. He would be about 130-130 years old now. Also the Frank’s Tea and Spice turpentine bottle is the same company that made Jumbo Peanut Butter.
Just started watching the video and you're already finding good stuff. Love your vids man. Everytime I watch it makes wanna go and wade the creeks of Kentucky to see what's out there
I've never seen a domino bottle or heard of one. Now I want one. Baaaad. I want one dug in this video. I just one the mega millions so I can spend up. What a fun time digging a honey hole.
Hey Brandon love the video. The little coke are way to cool,I have to ask you a question have yall ever found a Buffalo Medical water bottle from the 1900
I'm 53 and live in Canada. Back in the late 70s or early 80s I visited a Coca-Cola bottling plant with school and they gave us some of those tiny bottles. They were empty and didn't have caps on top.
That small Coke bottle could be a rare 2-1/2" salesman sample bottle which came in aqua and clear, used in the killer salesman sample mini fridges with bottles and crates. It could also be a "Bill's" gift set from the 40's-60's or from the Metalcraft toy truck which had bottles on the back. The salesman set I've got has a tiny Owens-Illinois Glass Co. makers mark along with some numbers underneath.
Compared to us in the UK you guys don’t have many stone bottles but the ones you do dig are really nice bottles. And your glass bottles are so interesting! With the town names on the coke bottles etc, just great to collect. 👍
Hello and Happy New Year, it takes me a day or 2 now to catch your vids as I moved to the Philippines. I am no longer gold mining but I am still brewing and fishing.
Crazy dig guys ! Love the art deco sodas. There has been two of those tiny Coke bottles found up here in Northern Ontario Canada too. Nobody has any knowledge or even seen one. Hopefully someone may know something about them. Take care & best regards to everyone !
what great finds! it is great seeing a hidden part of history. what was the common in daily life of people bottles of the past most people have not ever seen, always like to see the different colors and shapes. is there a good source for bottle types?
Mini coke bottles are the result of the 1970s energy crisis. Its called down sizing. Lol. Just bought a quart of paint and now a quart is 31 ounces. Actually I seen them coke bottles with Barbie doll sets. Great video guys
My uncle said that in the 1950s, if he had a headache his mother would send him to the drug store soda fountain and get a teaspoon of coke syrup. He swears that it's the best thing for a headache Coca-Cola syrup. Could the minibottle be for medical purposes?
As I told Kyle in his video,, I think what you have (the small Coke bottle) is S&P bottles. I know Coke, Pepsi, and a couple other brands made S&P shaker bottles back in that time period.
Great finds. Hope you guys keep exploring. It would be nice if you could show them cleaned up at the end or maybe do a summary video with some history on each bottle. New viewers like me don't know what cobalt glass is or what kind of poison was is it.
Cobalt glass is basically just blue glass and they were hoping to find a poison bottle with a skull and crossbones on it because those are worth a lot more.
Just drew a blank today, in a box canyon behind a 1915 municipal well and pump station. A housing development is rising close by. One 1970s Primo 16 oz. "Do not litter", didn't take it home. Was chasing Hutch rumors. Could a used a probe? In 2009 I found a wagon load of broken Sunrise hutchs. I found a whole one later on the same dump, a filled in Swamp in Honolulu.
In 1935 there was a great migration across America. A guy named Ken and his wife Barbie stopped their Malibu RV for the night nearby, word is. They had themselves a nice cold Coca-Cola…..#facts
Hey Brandon, the bottle from Covington GA I woupd love to pick it up. I used to live in Covington. I woupd also love to have one of those Americus GA bottles. If you're willing to sell them, let me know. Thanks!!!!
When I was veryyoung I got sick. No one went to the doctor then unless they were dying. My parents and grandparents were discussing what to gove me. I got Turpentine mixed with sugar in a teaspoon. For years every time I smelled Turpentine I could taste the awful stuff. They also gave me Paragoric. Look that up. All this stuff you could buy over the counter. I will soon bee 73.
Ok I know for sure .These were given out at the world fair ,coming in a miniature coke wooded holder, like the original size coke bottles.Came in a 6 pack.Believe the 1902 fair, not positive but maybe the St Louis one.
What an amazing outing. Lots of goodies from the dump, kool accents being heard, and a shave at the end to top it all off!
I still have the truck with the coke bottles in the back. I've wrapped it on clear wrap as not to destroy the original package
Ty for letting is know.
Nik-l-nip. Still made today.
I def knew it I have found one before

Awesome video and what the finds guys had that's amazing
Awesome finds that’s definitely a loaded site. I’m glad I still hold the hutch record for that place lol
You got that right!
ur wrong Todd Steiner runs that dump and has dug a dozen hutches from there and that mini coke bottle belongs to a 1930's coke delivery truck toy

Good to see you went to the barber for the New Year :-) Wishing you and yours health and happiness for the new year and great finds of course ! Greetz from overseas !
Happy New Year Brandon! The small coke is definitely from the toy coke truck. My Dad dug one probably 50 years ago! Keep on digging brother!
I have one of the small coke bottles with dried up coke in it. It was my grandmother’s. I always played with it as a kid.
Brandon I found my first bottle from my home town of Dadeville but it was a embossed dairy bottle Pinkston dairy it was cool to find to be embossed from a small town dairy farm

Your tiny coke is actually from the 20's and they were part of a store display. They would sit in the back of a coca cola truck!
another goodun !

Was the tiny Coke bottle a salt shaker??? Or maybe a syrup to make coke at home???
Y’all finding some awesome bottles and making it look easy 😂.
How do you guys divide out and share the bottles found during the day?
If you pull it from the dirt you keep it!
As I told Kyle in his video,, I think what you have (the small Coke bottle) is S&P bottles. I know Coke, Pepsi, and a couple other brands made S&P shaker bottles back in that time period.
Marbles from that age bracket can be very valuable. The best machine made marbles were 20-30s and some can go for hundreds.

I believe it's a 1932 coke bottle I dug one couple years ago and did some research that's the year that comes to mind novelty/advertising
Old burn piles. I have seen one north of Mobile that was used as an arsenic dump. Be carful.
That dude Peter looks like a stunt double to the t1000 from Terminator 2

idk anything about that baby coke, but I need to find one.

Could that miniature be for childrens play kitchen
A lot of those small Coke bottles were included in rations during World War II..
These would be pre WW2 but that is cool that they sent something similar!
When I was veryyoung I got sick. No one went to the doctor then unless they were dying. My parents and grandparents were discussing what to gove me. I got Turpentine mixed with sugar in a teaspoon.
