Would be nice if they had an option for other resolutions like 2560x1440 @48Hz and 2560x1080 @48Hz or 72Hz etc... There is no reason the scaler can't physically do it, just no option to create it. Aspect ratios are just that, "ratios", they're not a sum, they're a ratio, so the correct (and only) way to express them is "16 is to 9" or "4 is to 3" and so on. Saying 4x3 or 16x9 insinuates a specific size, but with no unit of measurement, because it has been incorrectly stated as a sum instead of a ratio. This isn't one of those "oh but they say it like that" things, if "they" say it like that they're wrong, no two ways about it, but the world seems to be giving up on doing things right these days unfortunately...
