in England - fast bowlers trying to swing the ball in the air by using their wrists in Australia - fast bowlers trying to hit the deck hard and land the ball on the seam to get movement of the pitch in India - fast bowlers shining one side of the ball and waiting for the ball to get old and start reversing but by the time that happens the spinners have already taken all the wickets 🤣
Sanjay manjrekar is the only commentator who is straight forward and don't be afraid to tell truth ..unlike other commentators never talk in two sides..
In England definitely swing because the duke ball swings a lot. That’s one of the main reason why Indian bowlers failed. 2 out of their 3 bowlers in the final were seam bowlers. Only ishant was a swing bowler. Although shami did bowl some excellent lines. Bhuvneshwar could’ve been crucial in the final because he can swing the ball both ways.
@@chiranthsanketh562 Yes but his action also allows him to swing the ball both ways. With shami u can also get that at times but with Bumrah his arm goes just 1 way and because of that he finds it difficult to bring the ball back into the batsman. Also Stuart broad is used to bowling on these conditions so yes that is an advantage for him.
I do not think that the reason for the failure in the lack of genuine swing bowlers, look at Glenn Mcgrath and pat cummins for example, both never tried to swing the ball but have excellent numbers in England, in fact the only genuine swing bowler for aus is starc yet they were quite clinical with the ball in England and starc only played one game in that series, it was a matter of line and length nothing else, bumrah was all over the place and he was tghe sole weak link whereas every kiwi bowler was on point right from the get go and it's not like bumrah cannot swing the ball, he was hooping it the very next match at trent bridge. I think the sole reason we lost was because of poor batting, nz had the advantage with the toss we were 140/3 and collapsed to 210, a worse collapse happened in the 3rd innings, if we had scored at par we could have managed to at least draw the game, whenever the opposition puts you in to bat first you really need a 300+ score which seals the game but that did not happen
@@satyarth5747 That can also be a point. Also NZ are England conditions are very similar so NZ knew how to bat on that kind of a pitch which bounced and swung a bit more. In india the bounce is pretty low compared to England and NZ so that could also be another reason for their failure
I don't know why people are criticizing sanjay manjrekar. Just Because he called jadeja a bits and pieces player. He is getting all the criticism in the world . Rather than taking knowledge from this video people are making fun of him 🤦🤦🤦
Vinay Kumar, Jaydev Unadkat, Munaf Patel and Ashok Dinda all these bowlers are neither swing bowlers nor have a great pace to trouble the batsman with seam.
100 times better than butter polished crap by Aakash Chopra.. Manjrekar is someone who isnt a people/viewer pleaser. He calls a spade a spade.. and this is how an analyst should be.. An analyst should be an analyst not a fanboy!!
Maybe...he has a sort of odd action..they also said play kumble like an inswing bowler. The ball can swing even if the pace is less. Sachin used swing balls both ways. Kohli may not have had that consistency.
Swing is better than seam... If anyone have control and have sufficient pace..... Talking about Monoj Pravakar.... Well we all know who ever watched 96 world cup.... He can't take pressure.... I guess.....

Misfortune of Umesh explained nicely....

Not in india, its made in pakistan

"Even if it doesn't swing, he is trying to swing" this cracked me up😂

@@rajdeepdas4079 Then why he was criticized about jadeja's bits and pieces remark?
He was probably the only Indian commentator alongside harsha bhogle who I liked. All others are too boring.
@@trollnehru8102 bro as a analyst he can criticize anyone when someone doesn't play well irrespective of how big the name is.
Mohammad Asif was a great combination of Seam and Swing Bowler
Beautifully Explained.

Even Stuart Broad is a seam bowler but very effective in England

@@commentor2614 he's saying the ball moves in the air if the pitch is green. And his definition of a cutter.
Because he is a horrible commentator. Don’t doubt his knowledge. He was a very good batsman too, but just doesn’t do it in the commentary box for me
In World Cricket Best Seam Bowler Only was Muhammad Asif he is a Diamond 💎 👑🥰❣️❣️👏👏
They Sachin and Sanjay ..did play Akram better than many.
Good explanation
Great analysis
Nice explaination

They are c grade bowler
Confusion is solved, when I see this video...👌👍
Sanjay sir was the opner of at 80-90
What is cutter ?🙄 The slower ones or seaming of the pitch ?
When you use your fingers to turn the ball either way when there is no swing.

Kohli doesn't swing the ball, he goes to one corner of the crease and delivers it with an angle into the right hander.

Defo swing but in most countries seam.
God of swing explaining stuffs 🔥
