Don't blame you about the snakes!! All your bird's are beautiful!! And atleast know Don't want blue hubbard squashes now!! And will you have to feed bids less after they go thru the garden's? And have forgot to ask how do you keep your seeds for storage?? God Bless and stay Safe!! Janell
Oh I wish I could donate my time to come collect your tomatoes! 😂 I planted dang near 60 tomatoes and don’t have much to show for all them plants. Them dang leaf footed bugs are just ruining my whole crop. And I don’t wanna spray nothing. Love watching the chickens and ducks running around! 😊
I was hoping you could take care of those bugs!! I’m so sorry! Some years are just like that it seems. You may have time to retry your tomatoes if you can find any starts already fairly large in size.
@@harmonhomestead7434 you’re so sweet! And yes some years are worse than others. This year has been one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Maybe the horribly dry summer we’ve had? But I haven’t given up! I have already started some tomato seeds again. And I’ve been blessed with a brand new greenhouse. I will get that huge harvest. It just might be in November 🤣
I let my chickens in the garden when it’s done and they will clean it up! Not a blade left and they are happy chickens 🐓 😊. I think you are wise to respect the snakes! I have had snakes in the chicken coop and garden. One snake (yes it was a beneficial 6-7foot snake but still😳) slithered between my feet in the garden and I stood stock still! I nearly had a heart attack- now I encourage my dog to go into the garden with me - I’m hoping she scares them more than me. 😳😉

Yes, our chickens don’t need near as much feed when we free range them. We just keep our seeds dry in a dark drawer. God Bless! ❤️

Yes I am petrified of snakes! Beneficial or not, they still scare me to pieces! 👍
