The thing with 5back is.. I have been playing 442 at 50% depth and on counter, and I find it kind of easy to break them down. I feel like the magic happens just before you pass the kickoff line, when the cm's are out of position. Then, and only then, you go fast. If you fail to get in to the box before the cm's are back, its to late and u need to start over from the kickoff area. This got me 13-2 instead of 9-6 which I got last week.
I hope this makes some sense, I think the key is to really be patient and get those cm's out of position. Its horribly boring to be forced to play like that.. but its working. And the satisfaction u get from dominating 5backs is so juicy.

Side note! Whenever u feel like you dont want to sweat more against 5backs, and ur already in the lead... its the easiest thing in the world to keep the ball in ur own half.. its literally so easy u can even watch youtube at the same time
yeah man 442 is great v 5 backs for me and what u saying i will keep in mind man thhank you. i do similar too i quickly try to get past cloes to halfway thru skill moves with my fast LB/LM and RM and then i just take off and try to get as high up as i can, make my players to alot of runs so his players will mark then its just try make the right decision if you should pass or shoot or dribble
The problem for me is the game. I played 442 or 433(4) but I always get countered. I cant attack, gameplay to slow and defenders too op. And my defence is always open. Also everyone I play shoots from 30 meters and scores. Its just so fake. I just started 523 and i can block the 30 meter shots much better. It is more boring now because i can create less but i dont get fake goals from 30 meters every game. The game is just broken. So frustrating…
yeahh same honestly and idk if it was me or the 442 formation that’s making it so easy to counter as most times they have no passing options or a way to defend the lm/rm
@@bilalmajid466 yeah its often you get a counter on the 3 CB's only.. if the cm's and the widebacks are out of position. Then u have a 4v3 a lot of the time.
the 5back with 2 def mids made me mald so hard this week. paired with the lobbed driven passes. i aged about 7 years over the course of that 15 games :D
You can have the best team ever...the game is still trash and basic fundamentals have been ignored and favor players who play 5 atb and hope to God that they get 2, 3, 4, 5 rebounds after making successful tackles.
100% agree with your take, pretty much the same game but more broken, until there’s an engine change we will be playing the same bs game

i find that rivals is fine. but champs gameplay is a joke and so rigged to keep everyone around 9 wins. im sat at 900 skill rating in elite but can’t beat div 4 players in champs

You knew what was going to happen in the 8th game. We've all been there when in opening 20 mins or so you hit the post twice, their keeper pulls off amazing saves...you know their first shot after 30 mins is going in

Hi Boras, use Foden on the wing. His dribbling is so good en responsive, i dont know how, maybe due the playstyle tecnical +. But so good to glide thru defenders.

Think a change of tactic would bring more goals, 442 is way too defensive even a 5/3 back would open your attack up more
Try Pichon at LS. Lefty, hits trivelas, good compliment to smith, not particularly great at anything but fits the LS role well

Guys i'm new to fifa and looking at Boras controller i was wondering why after a long shot trivela for exemple he spams L1 + keeps R2 pressed, does anyone know what's that about? Is he just trying to make his players run forward for a rebound or is it something else?
Also, i noticed in shooting (specially long shots) he aims way off the goal and after the contact is made with the ball he smoothly aims for the desired trajectory with his left stick, is this some advanced way to finish better overall? I never saw anyone doing that!!

Bro! Give Ebony Salmon (SBC) and Chloe Kelly a chance. Salmon has 50 goals in 21 games for me, all rivals (D1 currently) and champs. Kellys dribbling feels amazing and has great finishing.
Also using 433 (4). Was always 4222/442 but way too defensive this year imo!
I'm thinking to try Kelly. Is it worth?

The physical tackles in the game are a joke, they are blantant assault and they dont get called as fouls.
On top of that, the physical contacts make your players stumble which causes so many instances of rebounds.
Ai blocks and interceptions are ridiculously overpowered and unrealistic.
Finally all EA have done so far is nerf chip through balls and the speed boost which are attacking tools, if they nerf Fineese or Trivela without nerfing defensive eg 5 back im quitting.

Bro they need to boost attacking ai and nerf the shit out of defensive ai. All people do is control there centre mid and the ai does all the defending for them. I thought fc24 would be the worst fifa I’ve played but this fifa is something else

I tried to test something to see if the game is really shit. Ive played 442 41212 narrow my best formations and didnt find success, literally didnt qualify for wl and couldnt win games in rivals. I switched to 5212 with 95 depth and oh boy, 10 wins in a row and 4-1 in wl qualifiers… this is really sad that if you want to win at this game you have to play with 5atb which i really hate. I have to mention im not that good at the game, only div4 and my peak was div3 so im somewhat mediocre but still the game is not balanced at all sadly..

EA fckin games had 1 job to do, after the worst FIFA games they ever made last year... Its not FIFA but still, it is from the FIFA. FC 24... I stopped playing that game in november, it was that horrrible, and i pre-ordered this game again in august, hoping to... yeah hoping to get a better game. Well... yeah... I think we got scammed. $100 for a DLC, and couple settings(FC IQ, which was the tactics last year) is basically the same but it wont let you choose that many options, also 5 atb META still exists, speedboost, man, this game is a freakin DLC, for $100 WE GOT SCAMMED... EA GAAMMMEESSSS! Never ever buying EA football game again. This company failed. Just get more and more profit, thats what they need. Cant wait for the FIFA again... Because there will be 2 seperate games. FC and FIFA. FIFA coming next or a year after, but finally without EA....

Was elite division last year in division 3 right now got my ADHD tablets stopped it's me get_merked_fifa normally finish rank 2 plus got a mic problem in my flat that I don't no were they r speaking from distracting me lol still decent but will be much better once I get my tablets. Seasons is easy but grinding weekend league and rivals proving to be harder than it should be
