I recently read a piece of advice online and I decided to use it as my life guideline: Imagine you are old and on your deathbed, reviewing your whole life, you feel deeply regretful and sad. You wish for a second chance, then you wake up to your current life. Treat your life as if it's your second chance.
I'm in this spot daily after becoming severely I'll and disabled with constwnt pain, I still can't do alot of things like I used to but I DO notice the massive difference between my way of thinking and time compared to others now

Reality: im young, im unlucky that i got sick, i dont need to kill myself working when i dont even know what my future holds. i should just enjoy myself, while still being aware of the future and what is needed to survive etc. something like this? concrete is hard unless i have longer to think. theres just a shift in peoples priorities, most people are toxic to the core without even knowing it, never letting anything "stop" them from getting their "careers" or whatever they deem the most valuable version of themselves are, rather then just existing to breathe air and thanking the world for that alone.
Who knows, maybe if you met before you wouldn't have clicked... sometimes we meet the best people but we're not ready for them. So the best time to meet her was in your fifties.
If you met her early you might not have appreciated her because you would not have seen her value. Maybe all your other relationships taught you something of who will bring peace to you so when you met her you know she's the right one.

I used to think his videos were cringe. Maybe still a bit. Especially when going up to old people and asking how old they are, is insensitive. But at the same time, they are often neglected, and yet so many young people can be helped from hearing and talking with them. Most western societies, and maybe in the world as well, treat older people with disrespect, and ignoring them...almost like a strain on everyone, when they really can be so helpful to so many people if just included in people's lives.
Lessons I‘ve learned (not in order of priority): 1. Don’t overthink and don’t be too afraid. What seems to be almost a disaster can bring you on a much better path. Cross the bridges when you get there. 2. Take care of your body. In younger age it can compensate a lot. Not so in older age. Do something to stay fit. 3. Take good care of people who are near to your heart and stay away from energy vampires. 4. Leave a job you hate rather earlier than later. 5. Time is very precious. 6. Don’t care too much about what others think is important or what they think of you. Define your own goals and find people who share them. 7. Find out what makes you genuinely happy. Sometimes there is a discrepancy between what you want and what you need.
I love this so much. They’re all so genuine and giving us reminders to: 1) appreciate everyone we meet and have 2) do the things you love 3) exercise 4) and do the things you’ve been holding yourself back from doing. These are the kind of videos I need to give myself a push. Thanks for sharing!

I’m from Japan and listening these seniors makes me feel home. Thank you for this❤ At the age of 24, I thought I’d regret if I didn’t try living abroad. So I studied English for a year and moved to Canada without a friend or a job. I got a good opportunity and got a PR myself. It was 7 years ago and I recently realized that although my dream of living abroad came true, i wasn’t happy. I’m now trying to change my career because I’d regret if I didn’t pursue what I truly like and I’m good at.
I find this so interesting. We are roughly the same age, and I too am going through something similar. I am working towards brushing up on a new language and living abroad. Would love to hear how you did it! Wishing us well 🙏
I agree a ton with the 63 year old man. I think that everything that happens in our lives is meant to teach us a lesson, whether it goes the way we want it to or not. I would love to live my life the way I want to, but I would be leaving my loved ones behind and for me, they are more important than my dreams. I'm 29 and can maybe accomplish them at a later time but if I can't, that's okay too

I’m almost 30 and still trying to pave my way into the right career, something that I actually enjoy and want to do. I feel like all my previous experiences will eventually lead me to the right path and I feel like I’m finally getting there. This quote is very true.
I recently discovered that I am 50% Japanese and I hope to visit Japan someday to explore my roots. I am fascinated by Japan's deep understanding of humanity and the world, and it would be amazing to experience it firsthand. I found this interview to be wonderful.
I can proudly say I'm a person who makes lot of changes every year. I used to be disappointed with my own behaviours and my own decisions at one point but when i look back I'm proud that i walked away from people who poorly treated me at workplaces, friendships and relationships. I definitely don't have a-lot of friends but have handful people who matter and I'm a glad i left people who always couldn't align with my standards in life.

Such a heartwarming video, we have so much to learn with elder people's experience. In a world where people are only hyping about beauty standards, or how to look younger, how to date a foreigner, etc. this was a refreshing topic. ❤
But from that point of Regrets, comes the Lesson. And a courage to live according to what is better than now and yesterdays. Our regrets, pains, struggles and trial and errors, make/made our story a whole piece of us. ☀️
One thing I've learnt is life is about tradeoffs. Even when we sometimes do what we wanted, we might eventually wish we had done the opposite. But then again, a lot of people also never did what they really wanted to do. 🥺😔
Facts tho there’s a couple stuff I shouldn’t done like give my ex girlfriends money,and let them use social media.I had to sell my car I couldn’t fix it,and now I need another one badly.
True... simply our life has two side...what we want and what we need..so according to this . better to see the reality of things..if it's really needed to do or good for us .if we do this then do and then just learn from it and move on...
Lol I did exercise and dance a lot lol and didn’t go to college. So I Aced that one !! 😂I had so much fun so I wouldn’t have any regrets later in life . I’m 40 now . 😅 time goes too fast darn it . I am also in late thirties and have no regrets but I am not as happy as I used to be. My standards were somewhat high but not very high. I guess everything has a trade-off. I felt like a Harvard graduate (also went to a pretty good school) in my 20s and 30s. Made a lot of money and lost all of it at one point. But money wasn't the biggest thing. It was losing people as you age. and also hitting the limits of my career. Anyways, I hope everybody gets what they need.

Treat everyone u meet as if that’s their last day of their life. I learn that after my dad passed away. Everyday can be the last day of someone’s life. You will be more patience, forgiving and also more willing to accommodate. Imagine u argue w your loved one, and knowing that will be their last day, you will surely wish u never had that argument or say the nasty words. So with this in mind, every moment u spent with someone, u learn to be respectful, patience and gentle to others.
The past is gone, and the future has not arrived. If I probe on the past, it is like crying over a burst bubble. If I worry about the future, it is like trying to catch a burst bubble. I learned to let go and live in the present here and now. And surprisingly found myself way happier and healthier, with tons of stress and whatever removed. So Yes, this is what I want to share with everyone.

My best advice is a poem called Desiderata. But my personal experience is that I was flexible in my goals. And to know that dreams not always come true, but their pursue is worth it. Especially if they are the dreams of helping your parents and the good and abandoned people of this earth. Try your dreams ,don't regret later not trying to accomplish them. And be tenacious. Don't give up. All of these things must come from love. Without love, life is meaningless. Love is the currency of love.

Now that 70 has passed, I wish I had met my wife in my 20's and not my 50's. For 16+ years she has been the joy of my life.♥️

Big lesson: Everything is temporary. There is no recipe for happiness and no happy ever after. Stay curious and keep moving.

Treat everyone u meet as if that’s their last day of their life. I learn that after my dad passed away. Everyday can be the last day of someone’s life. You will be more patience, forgiving and also more willing to accommodate. Imagine u argue w your loved one, and knowing that will be their last day, you will surely wish u never had that argument or say the nasty words. So with this in mind, every moment u spent with someone, u learn to be respectful, patience and gentle to others.

My best advice is a poem called Desiderata. But my personal experience is that I was flexible in my goals. And to know that dreams not always come true, but their pursue is worth it. Especially if they are the dreams of helping your parents and the good and abandoned people of this earth. Try your dreams ,don't regret later not trying to accomplish them. And be tenacious. Don't give up. All of these things must come from love. Without love, life is meaningless. Love is the currency of love.

I feel like the real questions you are asking everyday people are generating valuable feedback and insight. If you feel like you're working too much maybe you can delegate some of your workload. Have you made enough to possibly outsource some parts of it as your channel grows?? Just a thought cuz you shouldn't give up on this priceless dialog you are creating.
