I'm done with my goddamn life
I have meteorites with blood in them in my shop in Ct USA.
Eeeeeeeee hola como estas metaballstudios
Yes Craters, Will there be craters on sun?
What about Ulysses 1994XF04 hahaha
Ah yes, my favourite form of measurement, Texas.
Texas
Everyone who thinks we Americans measure things in feet than football fields is actually wrong, feet in football fields are just subdivisions of the Texas scale.
Americans will use literally anything but the metric system
Welcome to america
I thought it was its total superficie, not its lenght ?
Let's just take a moment to appreciate this guy's work,he literally creates these VERY unsymmetrical structures, which are very difficult to make, and uploads a video every 2-3 weeks. Legend
He just downloads them from some library.
@@silentai3826 where is that library, if i may know?
@@g_pazzini he can’t tell you because he’s wrong and doesn’t know lol.
Not hard, but just takes lot of time

A perfect weapon for Gypsy Danger
Actually it's been found that it's a round-ish slab of nitrogen ice only 40m across.
@@illuminate4622 lol no it hasnt
It was assumed to be an alien space craft before by scientists 😂
God damn, no wonder Aerosmith started performing ballads, did you see the SIZE o' that Armageddon rock?
My favourite karaoke song, and I'll be surely singing it when an asteroid is heading towards Earth.
@@stevenl4543 Also on my soundtrack would be "We Will Rock You" by Queen and "There Goes The Neighbourhood" by Sheryl Crow. :-)
@@stevenl4543at least you be safe if the asteroid is small (rarely)
Special thanks to the camera man for filming this. And also special thanks to the guy who had to go to space to collect them here
But sorry to that city....
The guy is immortal man
Gonna come back to this comment every day to wooooosssh people
It's always poor New York. 😅
A showcase of rocks with a fitting rock soundtrack.
Rock on!
*All rocks*
The best soundtrack would surely be Queen's "We Will Rock You". :-D
Well done. I was pleased you didn't use generic rocks for objects we have images of, this time. And making the Armageddon rock look visably metallic was a nice touch.
The Chicx is the one that killed Dinosaurs. Just imagine if it was one of the bigger ones on this list.
These asteroids do not play around lol.
Hell the last one could be put on the lowest known point on earth (mariana trench) and it would be sticking hundreds of miles into space.
we wouldn't be here
Might literally wipe our planet off the solar system map.
@@Craftlngo More than likely some of the larger ones would create disasters here killing many if not all of us before it actually hit us. Earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and tornados, etc., etc., etc.....
@@shannaobrien5454 They wouldn't wipe the planet out of the solar system, most likely they would just kill all life on the planet and sent half of the planet floating into space.
I had no idea Halley's Comet was was bigger than the Chicxulub Impacator. Or for that matter, Hale-Bop was so massive. No wonder Heaven's Gate thought there was a ufo hiding behind it
Yes very huge
Heaven's gate ?!!
@@Artsy_Akaz5748 A cult from the 90s. They were led to believe they were aliens in human skin (or something like that) and that when the Hale-Bop Comet flew by Earth, there was a ship behind it that would take them away.
I'm not sure how much youtube terms and services will let me get away with saying. So, look up how it ended
@@adamthompson4072 Thanks for the info !!
@@Artsy_Akaz5748 you’re in for a treat if you haven’t read about it
I can't believe the Chicxulub Impacator is so.. *small*, just in comparison to everything else. It's absolutely wild to think about what it did to the planet!
Well, it didn't do it by itself. There was another concurrent impact and the formation of a Large igneous province in modern-day India which, one after one, sealed the fate of reptilian domination on earth.
Compared to 4954 eric, chixulub is a lil bit bigger (15km, while eric is just 10km)
The name of the asteroid from "Armageddon" movie was Dotti. Its discoverer wanted to name it after his wife.
Well that’s mean.
@@lyly_lei_lei That was the point; in fact in the movie he says “She's a vicious, life-sucking bitch from which there is no escape... “ 😂
Definitely one of the funnier parts of the movie
Well, the Deep Impact one was Wolf-Beiderman.

Wow, if a Texas sized asteroid hits earth there will be no earth 😳
Yes that was the point of the film.
@@mooparr lol

@@Foggyscotty yea
It takes more much more than that to completely destroy the earth, even the cataclysmic impact with theia billions of years ago which formed the moon what not enought to destroy it
Gotta give props to whoever made all of these highly detailed models
Man! You gotta include the ground-up view of those humongous objects! I'm serious! With buildings present to compare. That will really give us chills!
I agree! It is easy to lose the sense of scale of the largest objects by gradually building up to them
Knowing the way the boss thinks, saying "There's a series of ever increasing asteroids blocking the road" still won't be enough for him to accept I'm not making it in to work.
ruclips.net/video/wtbcaWnybzs/видео.html .,
The a Armageddon asteroid is so large it would most likely be a dwarf planet if it really existed.
That asteroid would turn our planet into liquid on impact, probably make a few moons out of earth.
I don't think you know what a dwarf planet is
@@michaelspencer8024 Yes, I do. The asteroid is larger in width than Ceres, another Dwarf planet. So either this asteroid is made of aerogel or it would actually be a dwarf planet.
Good 'Ol Michael Bay. That thing hitting us would be his ultimate wet dream
@@TheRedRaven_ hey, this is an interesting coincidence. I have just recently seen some of your comments on a video titled "Vogyilli residents taste clean water for the first time," and now I have found a comment from you here as well
"Deep Impact" should be named "Wolf-Beiderman", the name they gave it in the movie.
Ah. Named after the people who discovered it. Similarly, the real Comet "Hale-Bopp" was named after the 2 individuals who discovered it.
I agree with you. Wolf- Beiderman is the real name.
fun fact: the shoemaker-levy 9 comet was a comet that crashed into jutpiter in 1994, the impact was so energetic it heated up the athmospheric temperature of jupiter to 40.000°C
40 degrees isn’t that hot
The Chicxulub's *smallest* estimated size is considered to be 10 km. But estimates on it's potential largest size are 80 km. Quite a bit more massive.
and I thought 10 km was bad 💀
There is no way that Chicxulub´s comet would be that big. Otherwise the crater would have been much bigger. The estimated size is betwen 10 to 15 km.
Damn. Those are some big rocks...

Oh, i love the Asteroids and all other space-themed comparisons!
Apreciate the hard work.
Once again, another banger
No pun intended, I presume.
El punto es que cada vez logras mejores vídeos. Muy pero muy logrados.
The dislikes are from the dinosaurs.
Armageddon should technically be too large to retain that shape. It’s own gravitational force should pull it together into a sphere.

Thanks for this video. I talk as Physics Teacher. Students are interested in Astronomy matter, therefore, show this video in my class student can apreciate in better way the space science.
Greetings from Chile
The most insane part of this is that a 1 km asteroid could alone destroy a small country
The dislikes are probably from the dinosaurs.
Cool video ,love it
I think its fascinating that Chariklo is so small (in astronomy terms) but has a visible stable ring system. Which is why it's in my top 10 favorite solar system objects :]
Although Chariklo and Chiron are Centaurs, which are bodies that share the same characteristics as asteroids and comets, and both of them are significantly smaller than the asteroid Vesta, both of them are suspected to have rings around them, similar to the faint rings of Jupiter, Neptune and even Uranus but on a much smaller size
WE WANT TIME COMPARISON!!! lol nice job btw
Patience! xD
@@MetaBallStudios include time to wait until t is released publically (not sponsorship) lol
I honestly loved Armageddon. It was a super tense, action-packed sci fi movie, and it puts the idea out there that, one day, we might face a threat like a giant asteroid, and have to deal with it in ways we think are impossible.
¡Ah! y contamos con una vista desde el suelo, ese es un detalle grandísimo, excelente trabajo, me gusta este canal 👍
Woah! Some of them are really impressive!
Really enjoyed this one, thank you for your hard work 👍🏻👍🏻
Another thanks to the person who grabbed these massive objects of mass and placed them carefully to not brake a single twig.
If i may suggest something, it would be awesome to have a ground perspective about these asteroid sizes, just to know how would they look like if we were to look at them on the sky.
It depends. How long before it hits earth? 1 hour? 1 day? It should look its biggest 1 minute before. 😂🤣😂
@@WarRior-rn4kb maybe a good 2-3 days

Been reading Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. This is going to help me visualize things in perspective.
I really enjoyed that book as I was reading it (I enjoy everything I've read by Stephenson, with Cryptonomicon probably at the top stop) but the second part was so different than what came before; it's almost like two different books.
@@ShaunCheah I didn't mind the second half, just some parts in between were a bit off.

Very interesting, informative and worthwhile video.
¡Medio videazo! buena edición, buena música, beuna puesta en escena, hasta de terror a medida que avanza le video .👍💪👏👏👏
It’s scary how big these things are
Best Channel
The fact that just a under 10 km wide asteroid can finish off whole planet is terrifying.
Dammmmnnn.
The "Armageddon" reminded of Omni-Man( from Invincible) since he said he stopped an asteroid which was as big as Texas.
Good video.
"Deep Impact", i love this movie!
The guy flying the Piper Cub is a braver man than me. All it takes is one shift in an asteroid and it's gonna come down on that little plane. The banner just makes it that much less maneuverable.
First off I never knew Halley’s Comet was that massive
2nd: using Texas as a size comparison makes me happy as a native Texan
Another amazing and informative video! I love this channel.
Hi dear! How are you?
Great vid and thx for putting the song in the description!
So, remember, the smallest one exploded in midair and was enough to knock everyone to the ground and shatter glass everywhere.

In my life, I have seen tsunamis, floods, and plagues. No point in wondering what happened to so many epochs of life on earth when you watch this. Live life to the fullest, cause it is only a matter of time...
Just watched your crater video and recognized some of the names in this one. But I'm not an astronomer soooo.....I love your content don't stop😁
Can’t lie this shook me to my core. 😱😱🥶😵😵
For an idea of impact damage, the 100-metre wide Tunguska impact flattened 20,000 square kilometers of forest.
Saw the first one and was impressed, the saw the second one and then saw some suggested one of Dragon size comparison which looks very cool (I love Dragons) and some fictional building comparisons and I was sold and I subbed. This is some great stuff and you are very talented and doing content I like.
Crazyy..the music is so beautiful
I can just hear the guy in the building: "Hey, you! Move your rock! You're blocking my view."
Me before watching: "I really hope they include Oumuamua"
I was not disappointed
everyone talking ab the destruction, but this really puts into perspective just how big texas is
I never expected comets to be that big! Asteroids, I can get behind, but comets!!??? They're supposed to be the lil shooting stars in the sky, not MASSIVE ROCKS a few MILES in diameter!!!!
Oh, Halley's comet. I remember grandfather waking my brother & I up to look at it. Very beautiful sight.
Me encantan los asteroides y cometas ❤, estuviese estado genial que le hubieses puesto los anillos a chiron y chariklo 👌 buen video

You forgot about the biggest asteroid in our solar system. Ceres. An asteroid that is so big its classified as a dwarf planet. But good job:)
Watch part 1, it's there.
