Update 06/03/24. There was a small patch when I launched the game today. Was able obtain both achievements, but the game froze when I killed the purple squid.
The last two achievements appear to be broken since the new update. There's a forum post about it on TA.

You can enable unlimited health in the options menu. Makes it EASY.

Buyer beware, some achievements are busted now. Everytime I kill a squid, I get an error message and the game crashes.

That sucks, it's happened before with this same publisher, they always fix it within a week so don't worry too much!
