I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Good luck in the application too. This is a frustrating stage in any application process, so I hope you are able to get through it! 🙏
I'd never heard of this test when asked by a prospective employer to take it, and am very glad to have found your video! Provides clear instruction and insight, presented in a friendly, practical way.
Idin, you are AMAZING, I have listend to several different people discussion how to understand and ace the Watson Glaser test and you are the #1 BEST out there. I took the test and yes, I ACED it ! Thank you SO MUCH!
Thank you for the very useful and calm explanation of the test. Way better than all the people trying to scare you off before making it 😂. All the best in your career!

Thanks for the really informative video. It puts the whole test in perspective. Just had a question concerning deductions: is there any reason to not use Logical Venn Diagrams/Syllogisms while dealing with them? I suspect it'd be much easier that way.
Thank you so much. I appreciate your effort . I feel very confident after watching this video and I am clear on the right kind of approach towards each section.
This has been hugely helpful! A lot of other resources dive into explaining them in a complax manner, but this was a good foundation video to watch first.
Thankyou for this clear explanation, I definitely feel more prepared to do more practice tests with these methods. I'm planning on applying for vacation schemes and training contracts soon! Just a suggestion, I wonder if you could perhaps do a similar video on the general psychometric tests (numerical, verbal reasoning) as some law firms also use this method of assessment (although Watson Glaser is definitely the more popular one)
Hey - Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words. I'd love to cover other test types, but haven't don't really know the "standard format" these take. If you know, I'd love to hear from you about what sort of things are asked in these. Also, I never got a numerical test in my law applications. Have you? If so, which firms set them?
Thanks for the video! I'm having trouble understanding how the first one is absolutely false. It says race equality was discussed (doesn't say for how long or whether that was the purpose of the conference). So it can't absolutely be false that industrial relations was mostly discussed.
Hi Idin, thank you for the video. It is great but I have one question. You mention @10:00 for deductions that "you could try to come up with a counter example that disproves the conclusion". Can you provide an example of when coming up with a counter example that would disprove that there are clear days that are boring?
Hey James! I didn't make that so clear in the video, so thanks for asking that. In the example at 10:08 we're given the statement that (1) some Sundays are rainy and (2) all rainy days are boring. So, let's take those both as a fact, as you're meant to do for this section. Following from that, some days of the week could be clear, right? We're only told that *some Sundays* are rainy. So, on a clear day, we're not given a rule as to whether it's boring or not. So you could say that on a random Tuesday, it might be (1) a clear day and (2) it might be boring anyway. So that's a counterexample that you've come up with, while following the statement, that goes against the conclusion. Therefore the conclusion doesn't *necessarily follow* from the rule. I hope that helps!

I didn't make that so clear in the video, so thanks for asking that.
In the example at 10:08 we're given the statement that (1) some Sundays are rainy and (2) all rainy days are boring.
So, let's take those both as a fact, as you're meant to do for this section.
