🇦🇺My son had dyslexia and we bartered with a dyslexic teacher. A kitchen for one hour twice a week help. She gave him a tape recorder with instructions for the next few weeks to go over everyday. His brain ran so fast he couldn’t tell a story or write a story. He would record his ideas onto tape then slow it down to sort it out. Then write a draft, listen again and re-write. Finally write the story to hand in at school. It took time but the re-training worked and after two years he didn’t need any more help. First year he need twice a week help and the second year he only needed help once a week.

Our daughter went through speech therapy to correct a lisp. While she was practicing at home, she helped correct our toddler's lisp! I never asked her to, nor did I even think of it. Jennings will definitely master that S sound! I really enjoy learning from you! You have a beautiful family! Thank you for opening up your life to us. ❤

I took speech class in grammer school for the s sound. The only thing I remember about it is having to repeat the sentence "Sammy the silly snake says sssssss" maybe Jennings would get a kick out of that.

Jennings, you are soooo awesome! I have a daughter who had speech therapy for years and now she is perfect when she speaks. Misty, you might want to record him as he goes along. It was very helpful for my daughter to play it back as she kept trying. She didn't make ANY vowel sounds. Can't say much if you don't use those sounds. We were able to get Insurance to pay for some since it was caused at birth. Also way to go Dolly! I love seeing your freeze dryer. It's on my wish list lol.

For probably a whole lot less than the cost of the Vet doing it, you could buy an elastrator and bands. Then you would be ready for ones in the future. (lambs, goat kids or calves)
The only kale I've ever grown was the flowering kale, I never tried eating it. I think it said you could, but I didn't try it. I'm not a big fan of the stuff in a can at the store, but I sorta like the seasoned collard greens. Being raised in the north, things like that weren't regular for us.
Sounds like the little guy is getting the S's tackled, it'll just take some practice on his part, and patience on yours.

Jennings is the cutest little guy! I always get a smile when he shows up on a video. He seems to be a ham and always happy. The fact you homeschool the kids will help him more with any issue(s) that arise with speech or anything else. He gets a lot of one on one direction from you. A classroom setting is so different! In many ways especially these days! Congratulations on Dolly being bred!!🎉 I have to say even though I'm not a male and have no idea what that feels like but boy when that Vet and Colby got hold of that Boy, I felt pain. Made my toes curl! 🙀 I know things have to be done and imagine I would get used to it if I lived on a farm but as an outsider, Yeah some things are toe curling! 😂 And sometimes 😢

My grandson has problems when he first started talking he was almost three before he started talking I got worried about him and had my daughter take him to a speech therapist to have him checked and within a couple of weeks had him talking but he has trouble with words like Jennings does, he is ten now and talks really well, but now it’s my three year old grandson that has trouble with the s sounds and t sounds but I told my son and daughter in law that they need to stop talking baby talk to him and start pronouncing words correctly to break his habit. But they seem to think I am crazy for this, but I raised two kids and they talk just fine so I must did something right. Cause i worked in nursing for over thirty years and saw allot of this problem and worked with kids as well as adults that had problems with certain sounds. I just hope I can do what I can to help break his habits.
