I left my home of 42 years, the house I grew up in
situated on 30 acres outside Temecula in SoCal. I didnt want to move, especially not to Nevada, it's the freakin' desert! But I had to, my mother was dying and I needed to take care of her. That was 12 years ago. My only regret is that I didn't leave a decade sooner! I think my health improved with less stress, taxes are lower, crime is lower, and the desert? Well, I'm getting used to it, it's not too bad... it's not July either! Ugh.
