In a dying world that has lost its color, you approach the universe's core looking for change. Will your attempt to alter fate be accomplished?
Hypersurface is dubbed the "Final Level" of the tournament, which lies at the center of the constellation. A decider to proclaim who reigns as champion of FAINT 2024. A collaboration between skilled Charters and VFXers (Purple0702, Econ & yeetyote) have led to this one special level - the one that was there since the very beginning of FAINT’s development. the dying world sure has some funky rhythms

Focus is the will to succeed. "Hypersurface" by《FAINT Moonlight》is the last and arguably most difficult level in this constellation, featuring a fleeting chart with frequent distractions on a pilgrimage to restore a fading world's color. This level is such an incredible display of FAINT's ultimate final challenge, with hints of patterns from prior stars scattered across the system, as well as how the VFX follows a recurring call-and-response theme from Grigori Poincaré's bot-like BGM. The "crescent eclipse" section with the scrolling screen tile effect is probably my favorite part of the whole tournament, with my second favorite being the infinitely-recursing screen tile segments.
An effect. The world starts to recover. After the level reaches its cathartic climax, taking skill and stamina *Beyond* what was once possible, the pulsing heart at the end seems to reflect a kind of attachment to the creation and reception of the first FAINT tournament and all of its certified banger levels!!
Two comets can be seen orbiting a nearby star... Would they be worth a visit?

while you can think of it as a constant 6/4, i prefer to think of it as alternating 7/4 and 5/4 each measure because that's how the song feels like it's divided into
