Becoming more aggressive and Spider-like as he neglects being Peter, showing that the "man" in "Spider-man" is just as important as the work he does, and highlighting the importance of human connection, is actually such a great direction. Frank is also a great foil and way to show what Peter could become if he rejects his humanity

There may also be a geographical component to her telepathy, like if she’s not super strong in it yet. And I doubt she would want to get close enough to them. And she would just be feeing into their mutant fears.

I think the Man spider will only happen in a nightmare sequence OR he gets injected with a mutant serum to stop the hulk because the man spider is much more stronger and faster than Peter's normal powers

@Stormy436-t7eWhy not? Peter can begin volunteering at FEAST and a way to introduce Miles Morales as well. You can still have Peter go through the emotions and stress that turn him into Man Spider later. Mister Negative can break out Bruce to Savage Hulk etc so much could have been done.

Assuming that Sink is playing Jean (I hope the MCU lets her be go by Marvel Girl for a while since she probably won't be involved with the Phoenix Force for years yet) who do you think should play Cyclops and Wolverine, Scott and Logan need to be around the same acting age as Jean. If they are doing the Lee-Kirby era and Wolverine isn't going to be on the team and he's a solo character then Jackman can be the only MCU Logan but if you can't have that love triangle with 57-year-old Jackman pining afar for 23-year-old Sink

Keep in mind Marvel wants to maintain the narrative no matter what. They will never erase anything they set up. Retcons? sure but retcons provide explanation that make everything they produce fit the overall narrative and everything they set up.
People use the term retcon so loosely- it’s only a retcon if it contradicts or redoes past info. If it’s just something never shown, revealed or touched on, it’s not a retcon it’s just new context

Do you think there’s a possibility that we will get a plot twist in the third act that (even though doomsday has not been released) in this movie we are already on battle world… or even post-secret wars?
This could explain how he’s interacting with mutants and possibly a mutant himself.
AND, if Venom is introduced by secret wars, it could explain his appearance in this movie
It's a long shot... but I dig it.
I’ve been an MCU fan since the beginning but seeing how good Thunderbolts and F4 was. And add that to Daredevil Born Again season 1 AND how we got Daredevil Born Again season 2, the Punisher special, Brand New Day, Visionquest, and Doomsday coming up..it feels like the MCU is back. Not to say it will ever be on the same level as its peak in phase 3. But when I say it’s back, I mean it feels like we can trust that a new project is going to be moderately good at the very least. No more inconsistent ups and downs that we had after endgame.

The Spider-Noir trailer just dropped and it shows the Man Spider transformation. This kinda makes me question the supposed leak for Brand New Day.. would they really go that direction for both the series AND the movie?? Maybe that plotline is real but for the show not the movie.
If the trailer doesn’t come out soon, Brand New Day will end up being a 2+ hour teaser for Doomsday…

So the plot is kinda like the plot from the 90s Spider-Man cartoon on FOX Kids. Where Peter starts to turn into a giant mutant spider and Doctor Conners helps reverse the mutation.
The extra limbs are from Jean giving him a vision
I just realized when Peter Parker comes to much to the fairground, Pater loses his powers, but when Spider-Man takes over too much, Peter becomes Man-Spider. 🤔

The trailer has to drop this week or the hype is going to die for the trailer. I only think that because I constantly keep seeing and hearing run downs of what the trailer will likely be. While most of it sounds great, the more you see and hear it the less the trailer might actually hit. Maybe lol

The most intriguing part of this film is how they'll deal with the Punisher's not-so-immense abilities against the Hulk, and even when Peter transforms into mutated Spider. In Daredevil Born Again he can't even fully hold his own against several ordinary task force guys 🤔
