Coldplay. Clocks. It's amazing to think about how many thousands of people started playing piano because of this track, who would later go on to discover the classical greats. I still remember messing around with the opening riff when this song had just been released, there's just something so iconic about those arpeggiated chords that still resonates with us all to this day and is so unforgettable. This song always give me strength when I feel down, It’s like actually having someone that makes you continue. In piano it’s beautiful indeed.
This was my year 4 teacher’s favourite song. He wanted me to play it to him so badly but i never achieved what i thought was good enough. Now I have graduated from that school and listening to this brings back so many memories. Thank you Rousseau. That teacher was try nice to be and that year i learnt the most as he gave separate work to each person. I never learned much in primary school because i was quite a bit above average and it seemed like everything was repeated in class. Thank You Rousseau from creating this nostalgia!

This was probably the first song I learned on the piano, just the basic chords I copied from a friend at school during music class. This song stimulated my interest in the piano and made my father end up buying me one. With the passage of time I was learning much more complex songs and I never took the time to finish learning this one, however, it was my father's favorite song I don't know why and he always asked me to play it. I recently lost it due to the pandemic and was never able to listen to it in its entirety, I think it's time to learn it well and see if you can listen to it from wherever you are.
This is one of the most beautiful songs and really one of the most spectacular covers.

The music of the 2000s as I see it👏👏👏👏👏. It is a pity that young people do not enjoy the genre so much today. Clocks is a hymn, it is poetry, it is an icon of world music👌.

Omg my adolescence!!! I loved this song and played it on the piano when I first started playing! Now if only I could look 10 years later when I was 12.... a music Major playing the Big classics, singing Arias and composing my own songs. Maybe I should be a little less hard on myself.

Beginning piano students BE WARNED: This is a much more complex arrangement of this piece than you would typically see. If you want to learn this as an early beginner I'd suggest a different arrangement, as this one will require practice on other intermediate piano pieces as it has more complex technique than most beginner pieces. I'd recommend a few mid-paced classical pieces and other songs of a similar genre to "clocks". For example. David Lanz or Franz Couperin.
I never played this before. It only took me 3 days to get the melody down, time for the baseline.

That was breathtaking! I wasn't sure I wanted to hear a "cover" (it's hard for covers to capture what the original song means to me) but this arrangement is such a beautiful piece! And you performed it magnificently! It shows the ups and downs of a character's journey, it completely transformed my view of the song, thank you for this!
