So I have been an Evelynn main since 2012 when she originally released. I loved the fact that originally, next to nothing was really known about her except she was an assassin. no age, no birthplace, nothing. over a LONG time, we learned alot about her, and with her re-release, learned how she came to be the assassin she is. There used to be a newspaper type thing in League of Legends, and it told a story of how everyone Evelynn had ever dated was later found dead- except one, Twisted Fate. Evelynn couldn't bring herself to kill him because she had actually fallen in love with the man with Lady Luck on his side (hense Tango Evelynn and Tango Twisted Fate.) Originally it was assumed she was from the Shadow Isles as she shared traits with the entities from that realm, but it was never confirmed, and later debunked as it turned out she was a demon who lived off the feelings in the world, and when those feelings stopped happening she had to create them herself and failed many times before becoming the "Evelynn" that she is now. I currently have probably around 30,000 games with Evelynn alone between her 4 phases of her life (Release, "death nerf", rework, full re-release)
Historically the mythos behind the Succubi revolves around the concept of a female demoness that lures her victims in with her feminine wiles to control them and eventually drain their soul/life force. Succubi tend to be incredibly beautiful and depending on the mythology can mask themselves to appear more beautiful depending on whom they are preying upon. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." as they say and whom ever beholds a Succubi will see their deepest lustful desires, the perfect mate. That's why this song is so fucking good, it captures the concept of what Evelynn is with every word of the song. Something I also adore are her fangs, it's a tiny detail that probably goes overlooked. Her design for K/DA ALL/OUT has a corset that reminds me of the Pentagram Corsets that I've seen a lot around, basically the straps are in the shape of a Pentagram. There's so many details about her that can be picked up upon, it's incredibly impressive the amount of detail they've put into her.

The video concept really explained it very well. She can give you all the pleasure in life(money, cars, mansion, expensive furniture). despite all that, you have to deal with her dark side too(darkness, emptiness, snakes)
Technically speaking, Evelynn isn’t a succubus. Canonically, she is the demon of lust who gets off on the feeling of pain. She was born from pain, suffering, and despair, and doesn’t like when she can’t feel those emotions, so she just made them for herself. The “no feeling” refers to this, because she can’t feel anything when she’s not causing pain and suffering, and dislikes not being able to feel.
Trizz Studios is the team behind the music video and my god did they knock it out of the park. The lighting, the animation, the physics simulations, damn it's just incredible. Evelynn's are p unique bc they're so long and completely cover the finger for that spooky long and sharp claw illusion. It's probably my favourite part of her design lmao
Upon a quick google some specific types that are common in goth jewellery are nicknamed nail guards or stiletto nails. Most of the time they're attached to an armour ring but there are some kinds that are just attached to the end of the finger instead.

So other assassins, the enemy bot laner (sometimes support if they go squishy) and their mage. That's a few things I can say that might help you when you go to play her for the first time in her main area the Jungle best of luck in seducing her next victim

You should give her voice lines from the game a once over. She's an asshole, as you would expect from a succubus-esque demon. Also, some of her more provocative voice lines straight up sound like they clipped an adult film. They're so ridiculous, you can't help but laugh at them.

My favorite is, when entering her Demon Shade form, "Oooh, I like to watch." They make you feel somewhat embarrassed. Like, "Evelynn! You stop that! Stop that right now!"
Just as a heads up, the lore for the others is not as well translated into the K/DA world. For example the inspiration for Ahri to be the K/DA leader comes for the fact that she had an old skin "Pop Star Ahri" and someone at Riot just said "yoo what if Pop Star Ahri got tired of her solo career and created a Pop group"
