Yup. But it’s cool. We will see the value of a head coach drastically increase. Those who can constantly manage the coaching and now transfer portal carousal, will get paid big bucks. Those who can’t won’t have a team. A cap will eventually even out the squads and eventually, new rules put in place to help the g5 get into bigger bowls. Hopefully that serves as an incentive for players to participate.

BYU vs Colorado is a fascinating football matchup. Colorado is a one dimensional offensive attack. They're going to throw it. BYU tends to do well against one dimensional offensive attacks. BUT, I'm not sure BYU has played a passing attack as good as Colorado. Maybe Baylor (not in terms of individual talent but overall production). I think this game could really have any outcome. Could be a BYU blowout. Could be a Colorado blowout. Could be anything in between. I am going with BYU in the game though. I think that they're the better overall team. They're also more consistent. They're competitive even in their losses, within one or two plays of winning. Whereas Colorado has a had few real stinker games (Nebraska, Kansas). Also, BYU is Senior/Junior heavy. It could be the last game on the field for a lot of these guys. Certain Colorado players have NFL already in mind. So I don't feel completely confident. But I got.. BYU 30 Colorado 28 I expect BYU to do a lot of what we saw against ASU. Two back, three back sets, get Marion in space, quick passes. I expect Colorado to test BYU deep. Sheduer will take shots.

The real stat to watch here is 3rd and 4th downs conversation stats. BYU has been horrible on 3rd downs so if they want to win they gotta stop 3rd down conversions by Colorado and they gotta convert on 3rd downs and make sure 3rd downs are manageable i.e. less than 3rd and 5.
I think the key to the game is the first half. Colorado tends to roll when they get out to an early lead. They play best with early momentum. But they don't always get out of the gate. BYU on the other hand tends to play their best in the second half. Their coaches make great halftime adjustments. So what I'm watching is how it starts. If Colorado jumps out to a double digit lead early they'll probably win. If BYU is ahead at the half or even within 3 or 4 points they'll probably win.
Just ask them if they were starting a team as a GM to feed your family who would they pick first out of the finalist . Then drop the mic . This is not even a conversation for folks who really know football

I believe the transfer portal needs some tweeking. First and foremost....student athelites need to be prohibited from entering the portal until AFTER their current team's season is concluded...including bowl games. when these playuers leave earlier...it changes the moutcome of these bowl games and ruins it for the fans. Also coaches of these teams should not be allowed to leave these universities for other opportunities until AFTER their current school's schedule is complete...including bowl games.

@TChalla007 .... well hopefully they will show up for this game because if there's one thing BYU has a reputation for it is strong fan turnout regardless of the location and everyone knows they travel extremely well and that is just another reason why bowl games choose them when they have a choice among teams.
If the stadium is full, it bodes well for the conference.
