Bleach is bleach and I’m assuming your stylist is Caucasian. The majority of white stylists do not know how to work with non-white curly, coily, kinky, or Afro hair textures - in the UK it’s only become mandatory for trainee stylists to learn how to style Afro hair last year. Insane. Anyway, yes, take your daughter to a stylist who knows how to work with her hair texture. Or risk overpaying an inexperienced stylist and getting a sh*tty result.

Pretty sure it was the bleach. It can do that...especially when double processing it like this. I went pretty close to this light and it took away most of my curl pattern until I did bonding treatments.
Bleaching dark hair that light will defo make it a lot straighter - bleaching breaks down protein bonds, as does relaxer and other straightening products. Which is why it’s best to use olaplex or another bond-repairing product. It won’t prevent you losing your curl pattern but it will help keep the hair from becoming too damaged and fragile.

No she didn't. Its a process done after bleaching. When she said "sauced her up" that's what she meant. The bleaching did not get her that straight.
