After 8 minutes of musing I have to ask - are we going somewhere with it?
Did that set up have the neon bulb protection across the transistors? They tend to be a good way to tell if you are eating up the transistor junctions with the flyback energy. If the impedence is mismatched too much, the energy doesn't get to the output and eats the transistors
Transistors will blow if you don't have the output on a load, especially at high voltage, OR...it's the inline amp meters that are causing transistors to blow per John Bedini.
2/3/4 or more , the output batt change the Impédance line. If your battery never charged with pulses, is long, internal resistance is high. Is not positive energy but négative energy..first test is one to one Batt, charge one, (calculate the input joule), and discharge the batt, now you have cop more to 1. COP battery. your système cop is maybee 0.2. Now charge your système on axle, your COP systeme INCREASE and no touch the cop batt, now you have 0.6. Now it's time to have S1 for Gen the 2 kv out and self charge primary batt, all on my channel. Best Regards
I have his video series and books. You didn't use it correctly. Nothing should be blowing, and if you do, replace it. John Bedini built it exactly as it needs, so when you don't replace transistors, you are not using his system then. You changed it when you didn't replace it.

This bedini setup is a complicated very efficient joule thief setup? IMHO, you have the high voltage spike but not the high frequency needed to fire up the electrostatic machinary? When Eric D. ran the analog computers to speed up the waves beyond the light speed he used high frequencies also.
Hey Rus have you ever used a bridge rectifier and batteries as a resitor? Its possible to charge batteries as they are subtracting the voltage value of the battery .

Russ. Did this project prove to be useful? Are you still using this to charge batteries? I have read so much conflicting information on Bedini. Does it work? Do the batteries last? Is it worth building?
