    I want to swear this is exactly how I do it every time, especially after I asked you before and you gave me some tips. But I still get such a weaker signal. As in my little apartment, I get serious breakup just walking into the bathroom where as before the signal will be clear. I tried again recently and it was a bit better but still weaker. Maybe my CP replacement antennas are just lame.
    But I'll try again now that you made a video for visual reference. Thanks for making the video.

    Thank you for the great Video, helped me a Lot :) But the fpv range shouldnt be as good as with your old antenna?

    HI! What temp are you keeping the iron when you do the soldering for the (-) you were able to almost "shift" the somewhat liquid solder to bridge the antenna. it was like freaking magic!

    Great vid! I would like to see your methods of getting osd on boldclash cameras. I need to try this bridging method I usually re strip the the coaxial into a pitchfork and solder.

      Which Boldclash camera? They make about a dozen or so.

    Hey man, i just broke my tx06 antenna. So basically, we can change it with any antenna we want, like ort micro vee with ufl, just have to cut it and spread the inside cable, then solder it. Need your help man

    Question, after I desoldered the old antenna the ground and signal pins have continuity when I test with my multimeter. Is that right? I'm trying to track down a short.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  7 лет назад

      You probably have a solder bridge somewhere. There should not be continuity.

      Albert Kim crud. I was afraid of that. Can’t see one so it’s somewhere sneaky.

    Can you fix a camera/vtx that is damaged by a fault (electric short circuit)?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  6 лет назад +1

      It depends... You would have to know what the specific damage is first...

      I always have questions. Just got q X7 radio and setting it up. 1st time I set up 9D+ I just followed different videos. This time I'm trying to understand and those videos (as well as new ones for X7) don't explain.
      General topic area is throttle settings. Specifically, why do you set these up, where are they set (BF tab, CLI, radio calibration) and how do they interact (min_check won't allow arming if throttle value is higher even when stick full down?):
      Min, Max, Midpoint (calibrate endpoints - adjust using trim, subtrim or % field?), Min command, Throttle idle, min_check and max_check, Deadband (throttle?), stick calibration (don't push on sticks or you have to push down for arming), throttle midpoint and expo (Config tab). Why does everyone do this differently? Thx.
      Might be more than 1 vid! Series? LOL

    • @marksherman630
      @marksherman630 7 лет назад

      Forgot - when you calibrate endpoints in BF you do it for a specific quad and receiver. Do you have to do it for every quad? When you calibrate sticks on the radio it's for all. What's up with that?

      Thank you for this. Great video on soldering, which im new to. Please consider soldering tutorials for small wires to pads, that sort of thing. Or how to get solder to stick to the pads. I keep having challenges pre-tinning. Thanks, Albert

    haha this is exactly what I do - for some strange reason banggood doesn't have any spare antennas like you showed, they only have spare cloverleafs. However I did find a pack of 12 brass dipoles for $10 on amazon. Anyway, the problem I sometimes have is that the ground metal on the sides of the breaks off of the board or worse the whole little top piece of the VTX board physically breaks off. Both those problems pretty much always end the use of the camera+vtx, but I was thinking could you do a video showing how to (if possible) remove the camera from the VTX on one of these all-in-one micro fpv camera+vtx packages and wire it to a new VTX something like the Eachine VTX03? I have wanted to do that but I am not smart enough to figure it out. =( Thanks for all the interesting and helpful videos everyday, keep them coming!

    Hi bro maybe you can help me I just disolder my lantian antena 3 on 1 cam, the antena its a large pigtsil, I decide to cut some milimeters to resolver it but now I dont have signal the camera turns on and funtion but the imagr its black... Some ideas please.... 👍🏻

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  4 года назад

      You must have damaged it where the cam signal goes to the VTX. I'm not sure where that is on that model.

    • @MaxartDesarrolloPersonal
      @MaxartDesarrolloPersonal 4 года назад

      @@AlbertKimTV I would like to lear about this cameras do you know a tutorial or some informativo about it I think that maybe make the antena shorter affect the signal but if the image its black maybe something is damaged... The cámara funtioned perfect yesterday bud the antena had a little mové I try to resolder it I accidentally I disolder the negative...😪

    Hi this is as usual an awesome vid 🤘🏼Iv made an aerial the same way as you have bought but my question is regarding your camera,Iv got the Eachine 3 in 1 and the way the aerial solders on is very hard to nail as the tiny little wire has a solder pad about the same size and makes it very hard to get perfect,what is the camera your using and would it be compatible with the Eachine beecore F3 flight controller,it looks so much easier to get right,
    Thanks again for the quality vids 👍🏼
