Wait the Poacher was originally going to be called The Dragonslayer? I went around taming every lizard I found on my playthrough, so I find this really funny.

Some pretty cool mods honestly. Hopefuly the messiah scug got you a bit interested in oneshot,its a cool game. I will say though,the escort's kinetic damage funkyness does make it pretty easy to make a reference. "Now go to the iterators and cry like the little bitch you are!" -the Escort, probably.
Some scugs even have their own endings already, although their campaigns are very unrefined. Others have campaigns too but not all of them have their endings implemented yet and only have half the story. It's crazy. People are so fast

I think what is very odd or cool to me is that I know the guy who made The Escort. Quite a kind fellow! I may have to try The Escort soon, but I have to congratulate them for it! I remember them saying how much work they put into it and it makes me happy to see that their work can be seen by so many people. Keep up the great work, Deathpit!
if you are into meta breaking rpgs similar to undertale or off, you should definitely play oneshot. it is mostly story driven rather than gameplay driven but it is very genuine and touching
I am friend with the mod creator of The Escourt. He told me the way to get the secret slugcat and my god it was funny when he showed me. He is a cool dude to hang out with though. Also you did miss that the Escourt has a movement tech where you can jump up off a while if you hold the jump button while holding onto a while then quickly pressing jump after letting go of jump.
Poacher don't have crazy abilities? Can harvest multiple bombs from cheery plant, craft freaking electric spears, have full body armour shield when crouching- countering scavs very hard, can wiggle and throw objects when grabbed - meaning they 2-3x times less likely to be captured to game over screen. Unironically traps are the only ability that is crazy and in fact balanced. Basically he have full survival and fighting kit beyond any slugcat imagination. I would personally scrap everything and leave Shield and Traps. And also turn scavs reputation very low since he is wearing lizard head which make Scavengers think you're a lizard or distrust you a lot.
Yeah, true I was very impressed with that one. Totally fits if it were official. Also possible that the poacher is an adult, that is just born smaller than average. And because of the little food needed to eat, it could afford the time to mess around and learn crafting stuff.
Just thought id say this because I FINALLY got outsider to work! How? well I verified the integrity of my files and saw I was missing a whole 25 of them somehow, but after that all the mods I had had trouble with started working. Hope this helps!
does the Poacher bug out with any grasps other than vultures? It's the only one I know can cause a softlock, that'll be getting fixed next update... I've also heard that it can cause crashes, but I have no idea how or the context it's happening in, I haven't managed to replicate it

Oh, that Oneshot mod looked awful. Having to constantly carry a very heavy and very fragile object, and the game crashes if it breaks. Yeah, hell no. That is some awful ass gameplay.
