On PlayStation 4-5 this is your only option to play it. You can’t buy the older games as there is no backwards compatibility.

Why do people say this collection sucks? Aren't they basically the same as the original games?
Original games were amazing when they came out and aged alright but the age shows. This remake made it worse and didn't even fix some of the important issues of the originals. This is no remake. It's worse and the graphics don't even look better. Also Forsen sucks so it looks even worse.
Collection is 60GB btw, both the original games combined don't even reach something like 20GB lol
Main issue people have is with the servers.

These games were only good in memory, never replay childhood games.
No, they definitely still are good. BF2 came out the year I was born and I when I bought the classic collection, it stood the test of time. I recently replayed Republic Commando and that one is definitely still amazing.
