If you know lots of people, you can find out who to take and who to avoid for certain classes. It's useful to use campus computer labs as opposed to your own PC at home to meet people who you can get information from regarding which professors and electives to take. For computer science, it's extremely helpful to know one or more people in a class who you can work on a project with instead of being a loner who doesn't have anyone to work with.
who else loves nina's tips? after making our own college decision reaction video, we got so inspired by her college advice that we started our own college advice series as twins! if you're interested and are a high schooler who wants a successful college application process, check us out!
you are so relatable! you reminded me of myself when I was a freshman!! it sounds like you have learned a lot about yourself and i like how you justified your advice with your own experiences. :)
I can definitely relate to some of your points throughout this video. The point about comparing yourself to others in college is spot on towards me because coming out of my high school, I was in the top 8% of my graduating class, so of course a lot of my peers would look at me as academically gifted, but the minute I became a student at UC Davis, I already knew that a lot of my peers around me were overachievers (matter of fact, on average, way smarter than) and could solve seemingly complex problems a lot better than I can. I feel like impostor syndrome is pretty normal towards people that end up going to prestigious schools because you can be the cream of the crop of your high school, but so is the general population. The best thing that I can do is focus on myself and that seems to work out so far. I hope that you're doing well during this time and that you keep on making videos :'))
Hah yeah, always save your assignments. The feedback is important for improving future assignments... But also I had to prove at one point that someone forged a horrible note and it took a lot of examples from that time period. Keep your work.
haha im a rising junior at cornell and i def feel you on all the points. the resume definitely hit home. i brought my common app resume to the career office to get it fixed and before she even looked at it, she was like “what is that? i hope you’re not applying to any jobs with that”
You are sooo humble! Dw tho you go to freaking MIT and you do be doing better than all your friends in that final reaction vid you posted a couple months ago.
I think at MIT you have the option to make assignments that your not happy with the grade of disappear and just say that you took the course. That’s only for the first year I think and the second year, either at the beginning or end, idk which, you need to determine your major
Thanks for your tips, and being open about your unsecurities. Also, I've noticed sometimes your right eye gets slightly unaligned. And that surely makes you more attractive

They will still be there for you another time. Some people need this right now
