Remember Bell is 14 while Ryu is 21, while in a medieval world like Danmachi the age gap could be considered reasonable I doubt Bell would look at Ryu that way. Not saying Bell doesn't see her a woman but Bell just sees her as experience mentor and friend. Plus if what I read from spoilers ahead are true Ryu would unhealthily dependent on Bell.

I feel like the anime didn’t do ais character justice by anime onlys standpoint she’s only seen as bland and emotionless but the LN says otherwise her backstory explains why the way she is very sad and dark past but everyone’s entitled to their own opinions so if you like Ryu x bell more and like Ryu better as a character there’s nothing wrong with that.
