Awesome to hear two parents who are divorced and remarried to others, continue to respect and love each other...their music shows this...I loved hearing the both of them decades ago...saving my own soul...
Agree with you on the issue of getting his due. Somehow, I don't think he's too worried about it. This guy is absolutely right there with Prine, Van Zandt, Blaze, etc. Also agree with you on the National Treasure comment.
@@robertbeckrealestate7255 I hope you are correct in that he's not concerned about it. Another one that should be in the Hall of Fame is Gene Watson! In my opinion it is a shame and disgrace for Country music that he is not.
It is hard to believe there are so few views on this video. The production is first rate on this video. These people are only famous in small circles, think about how more beautiful our society would be if this had 15M views and the violent/look at me crap has 35K in 3+ years.
These two were always so great together, don't know what happened between them but it is good to see them doing this. Both great at writing and performing. Both very underrated.
This is so great! I have loved “It ain’t over yet” since I 1st heard it, in 2016. Last night I searched for the official video & after watching it, this came up! Thank you, whomever posted this. We saw Rodney Crowell in late November 2019 & he did “It ain’t over yet” with a talented trio of young musicians, perhaps some of the guys from this show, but the wife of one of the guitarist’s sang Roseanne’s part. I have loved Roseanne & Rodney since the late 70’s, earliest 80’s. I fell wildly in love with The Civil Wars when I 1st heard them, I was broken-hearted when they spit up. It’s so great to see Rodney with John Paul White & Roseanne!!!❤️
I loved Rodney n Roseanne way back in the 70s and even more so today. I watched a show about a deep love that didn't last this past week and thought of these two through out it. Thank God you still make music together. And it's clear you have good feelings for each other!!! I agree awards for you are way overdue. Ide not heard of John Paul or the civil war but intend to learn about them. I pray someday you'll be playing in Utah or close by. Thanks for everything
Townes, and Robt Z. and Robert E Keen - you have someone joining your ranks as a great songwriter- this is a classic! Rodney - "it ain't over yet" - thanks for writing and sharing!
Love seeing these three together, and hope to hear more from John Paul White (formerly of the Civil Wars)... wow! What a beautiful voice, blending with the others harmony supreme.
It’s like in song they always need to be together!! I can always hear their wonderful voices blending and hope they keep making music!! We truly love their unique sound!
Loved these guys since I got to spend the weekend with them at Omega conference ctr. in 1991, at a songwriting workshop... no, actually I've loved 'em since... 1981 with Rosie's "Seven Year Ache"... with hubby Rodney and Vince Gill singing harmonies... oh yeah.
Stuart Smith plays electric on Leaving Louisiana. He filled in for Don Felder when he first left the Eagles. Good guitar player. So is Joe Robinson. Good singing, good music. Great set.
You'll be glad to know Steuart didn't just fill in for Don, he's been part of the band for some time now. Fabulous musician. I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with him in the studio. It's a beautiful thing, yes indeed!
@9:16 guy on lead (a Crowell, perhaps? He looks a lot like Rodneyj made a mistake and a great save - he had to pick up his pic and lost time, but more than made up for it. What a great lead player! Haha!

They are both favorites of mine. Sometimes I feel some of their pain of losing what they had
He has gotten better with age. Rodney Crowell is magnificent. Awesome to hear him with Roseanne Cash. Both 80s icons.
He really has aged well. His voice is awesome.
Thanks Dude! Rodney Crowell is a National Treasure that never really quite got his due; yet!!!

One of the most underrated and best songwriters - ever
ABSOFCUKINGLUTELY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesomely amazing singer too !!!!!
Where and when has this Grammy winning, Nashville songwriters hall of fame inductee ever been under-rated?
One of the best front men and band leaders ever, too. He's got a hand on that driving wheel.
The very best usually are underrated. Other, more known musicians sing their songs and make a name for them.
Iconic Songwriter.
Thank you Rodney for so many truly amazing songs and wonderful memories.

I've watched another recording of this event countless times. First time I've seen this version - superb production. Thank you!
My Wife and I attended this incredible show. No words can describe how wonderful of experience this was. Once in a life time. Thank you.
Amazing...so fortunate !!!!!!!!!
Awesome! So jealous!
Wishing I was there!
We mere mortals aren't privy to how these collaborations happen but we are truly privileged to at least hear them. Incredible talent.
These two were always so great together, don't know what happened between them but it is good to see them doing this. Both great at writing and performing. Both very underrated.
Alcohol and drugs unfortunately both sides.
It Ain’t Over Yet is one of the most amazing songs I’ve heard. It’s so beautiful. Perfection.
Me too buddy

Great song. The lovely Ms. Betty and I were fortunate enough to be at this release party show. Once again had the pleasure of meeting Rodney.

What a wonderful slice of what I'm sure was an epic evening!

JPW is a harmony singin' machine.
Rodney is my favorite. ❤️
Aged like a fine wine. Great talents. Not like that fake country pop crap.
It’s like in song they always need to be together!! I can always hear their wonderful voices blending and hope they keep making music!! We truly love their unique sound!

Rosanne really sounded great after all the years. Great seeing them together. But is she remarried? Interesting.
Yes, much to my dismay, she married John Leventhal.
Happily married ❤️
A good ole 'rebel yell' would have been perfect right before the instrumental ending! "Aye eeeee!"
Thank God for nice good tires and good good tires good tires

What year was this? 11:19
Who is playing the electric after 10 minutes?
The great Steuart Smith, one of the best ever!
John, I'd keep Rodney away from my woman. Lol! Just joking. JUST joking.
the bald dude with the hat looks like Joe Robinson. Also plays same Maton as Joe
