    Started using olive oil instead of this silicone based mold release and have had much better results with your method, thanks!

      I won’t be doing the wall for at least a year now. Delays in the building project. I will put one up when I eventually do it though. Thanks for your comment.

    Thanks for the video. Kind of crazy that the outer walls of the mold are angled like that. Looking forward to making some myself.

    Any suggestions on how to smooth the backs of the blocks? The open ends seem to be coming out rough for me. I’m thinking stack another mold on top?

    Love your video I think it will help me a great deal with a home project. My only concern is with the amount of water to go into the mixer, Are you able to provide amount Thanks Paul

      Hi Paul. Thanks for the great comment. The amount of water I use depends how dry all the other ingredients are. Saying that I think I used about 3 x 500ml. You’ll need to test the first batch up though. Just don’t make it too wet.

      @@paulmitchell6535 Colour depends on a few things, aggregate is one of them, and the colour of the dust in the aggregate gives mine a pinkish cream colour.

    Do you prime or put any waterproofing on them if you make a wall outside? Also what morter do you recommend to bond them together?

    hello, I have the same mold and I already destroyed 6 pcs :( I can't get it out of the mold, any advice? drying 1 day/2 days, I've also used oil on the walls and the same result. thank you very much

      this comment is making anxious to fill my moulds! ive got 10 and they took nearly 2 months to arrive, i do not want to destroy these… OP can you give some advice?

    These seem thin. Are they wide enough to build a wall with? I really want to buy the molds to DIY a privacy wall in my backyard.

      They are about 70mm thick. Good for a screen wall. Not for load bearing unless strengthened

      I leave mine about two weeks, I stack them back to back and front to front to alleviate damage.

      Hi Andrew, The wall will be added to our new building program, it will be going around the pool and a small one in the front yard. I'm thinking about at least a year off from now.
