About an hour ago I was looking at a postcard that Ian Gillan (Lead Singer) sent me from Japan where Deep Purple were touring about 40 years ago and here in 2020 are Aikodai Meiden doing a Killer Job on a Deep Purple medley.Absolutely Fabulous!! GO AIKODAI MEIDEN - YOU ROCK!!!
How they move on stage, how they play their instruments (everything about them is synchronized!), the quality of their music, Aikodai Meiden HS rocks! They nailed "Smoke on the Water," "Highway Star," and "Happy."
I don't know anything about this band and haven't heard or seen them before but... 👍👍👍👍!!! Excellent Stage Concert Performance👏👏👏👏👏 ! Very High Quality Musicianship, Dynamic, Eye Catching visuals and well executed. Enjoyed it very much. Bravo Aikodai Meiden High School Band, Bravo! ... and Fantastic Job Music Director. You have a very good band there. I LOVE BRASS - 🙏🙇♂️
@@demef758 I think Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band are the best performers but other high schools are hot on their tail. Tachibana will have to step up their game with increasingly difficult routines if they want to hold the title of being the best. Just an opinion of an American. I could be wrong.
In America, band (music) is often offered as an elective and the alternative is often sports. Those with no interest in sports will often choose band as an easy alternative often meeting only once per week.

1) Practice, 2) practice, 3) practice, and 4) a strong desire to play in a band like this. In America, all the kids want is to be rappers. Ugh!
