There’s an ace charge opening under the reinforcement so why isn’t the impact trick allowed? Answer: It isn’t an illegal impact trick.
The floor below the thermite charge isn’t destructible so the explosion was clipping through the concrete floor

@@tonyflamingosucks6590 no its not...... the floor below the reinforcement is soft (go in a private match and look where the edge meets the wall) ace went below to open the wall up (created a small rectangular opening) and lesion threw an impact through that hole. no glitch. literally part of the game :D

IF that isnt the case, then it's likely that the spectator mode was glitched. It often doesn't show what actually happened.

pretty sure that isnt a glitch. there is a hole in the reinforcement that is made by ace after a failed attempt at breaching. did they get disqualified? or did the team contest? if not then its not a bug. to me thats just a biproduct of ace failing and leaving open a small part of the wall

@@ericramos1916 you used to (still might) be able to completely remove a reinforcement by having one there and one at the top of the wall same place, so I believe they were trying that

@@H-to-O There were multiple instances of instant lock on and its quite obvious to see even with full speed. One happening? alright but 4 clips in which there is unnatural flick into perfect center mass? Not even talking about him perfectly tracking center mass while moving. Thats just not even subtle
Kaids shotgun has so many hit detective issues that it’s impossible I use 60% of the time. At least it saved that doc tho.

Its funny when the commentator isnt even playing and he rages more than the ones actually playing. There was a commentator actually playing and he never got mad, it was hilarious because he was the only one giving good callouts

Notice how the fridge gets shot and Iana gets downed, and how the prefire from Vigil doesn't even hit her.
Al vigil does is finish her off.
@@fallshimjager1 Kaid shot her through the breach in Wine Cellar wall (that the Attackers made). When Iana get's finished off by Vigil, Kaid gets an assist. A couple seconds later the spectator switches to Kaid in barrels, behind cover, but in a position where he could see Iana if he peeked. Also even one of the casters mentions that the breach is working against the Attackers.
No need to "feel bad for the Iana" she chose her positioning extremely poorly. Like the breach is open, there's obviously someone in site and she knew where Vigil was, no need to put your back to the breach and try to fight the Vigil. There was more than a minute remaining in the round before she got downed. She had plenty of time to go back outside and push into Garage through either the North Door or the West wall (if it was opened). And yeah maybe she still loses the gunfight to vigil, but at least then it's a 1v1 gunfight (where she has a way better gun). And if she does manage to eliminate Vigil, then she can actually play the breach her team made.
We can't see the whole round here, but honestly the Attack played really poorly. If they had control of Big Garage, then how did they lose it to Vigil? No Flank Watch? That's their fault. If they never even cleared/took Big Garage, then why the hell are they going for a Wine Cellar take?

Iana was on a crossfire. The player didn't lose to unfair mechanics of the game, rather the fight was lost due to poor positioning.
It's also wierd that the Vigil had enough freedom to go for such a big flank.
It seems they failed more at droning/clearing floors than flank watching.

I watched back the match, ace went below and through a Selma charge at the ceiling of Lounge to clear the Mute jammer (this match happened 4 months ago so before the mute change). That Selma charge created that little opening at the bottom of the wall that the lesion used for impact tricking
Yeah. I have no idea where the caster got that it's a "known bug" or something. Very professional to just make shit up to throw the players under the bus for no reason.

There are a lot of things in pro league that aren’t allowed, because it is something ubi hasn’t fixed yet. While this one wasn’t a bug,and was actually just a smart play, the commentators thought it was a bug and talked about that.
Olofboost wasn't allowed. That's not how it works in competitive.

I do know the bug Dez is referring to, but I believe he slipped up in the moment. Obviously I have the ability to pause, look back whereas he has one second to catch what's happening. So there is no blame to Dez at all. But I believe that was down to, Ace of SuzuC, using a Selma charge on the floor below, to clear the Mute jammer for Thermite to breach. They have no Zofia or Ash to do so.

@@kitkup8570 there was an ace charge on the bottom of the wall to shoot the mute jammers. He threw the impact through the tiny hole in the wall. That isnt a bug. Its called impact tricking which is an actual strat.
