@@pirotess2 yeah. Nobody knows how truly strong those who train outside. They are not training in overpriced flashy gyms.

I notice majority of cultures has their own folk wrestlings.. Most Asian and Europe..

The best outfit for a wrestling match is when the fighting boys don't wear anything except short gym shorts.

В борбата има два стила, Греко-роман и свободен. Това е свободен стил.

This is not at all specifically "Turkish" or even Ottoman, Balkans and the Mediterranean had wrestling since ancient times, we even have specific songs for it. In Ottoman history Oil Wrestling is mentioned happening in Thrace in the first account by soldiers and it's very possible that the origins weren't from Persia or Central Asia, anyhow Ottoman Muslims were multicultural and the modern Turkish from Anatolia and Rumelia have inherited in various but very significant degrees culture and ancestry from the people living the empire, plus innovations plus the Turcopersian ancenstry. In any way many cultures all around the world have wrestling as a traditional sport. Peace to the world and continue practising the traditional wrestling of yours.
