Bro. The Ryche rules. My favorite band ever! Geoffs voice is second to none! All members play their instruments extremely well. Tight tight band! Their lyrics are always profound and filled with meaning.... dig in bro. Not one bad song by this band
I totally agree. Although I'm 100% more familiar with the Empire album more than any other, every single song of Empire remains one of my favorite songs. I'm in my 50's now but Queensryche will always be remembered and will always be one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite, group of all time. The music, the memories, and their songs are just so solid.
I met Chris DeGarmo back in the 80s when he was in a music store. I was supposed to see them that night and he let me take a pic with him, BUT the guy who was taking me stood me up!!! grrrr I never did get to see them with Geoff, but cuz they opened for Scorpions many times in 2015 and 16, I saw them with Todd LaTorre when they got rid of Geoff. I loved that man's singing until he got stupid. Todd sings just like him though. Love this song CaS! Thanks for the memories!
I seen Todd 2x wasn't impressed with his live stuff. Was more impressed with the band in 2009 when I see them and Tates voice was gone. I didn't get to see the original line up,was suppose to in 1994,but plans got canceled and pissed me off. Todd has pretty much taken over the everyday running of the band and has ran it onto the ground. Won't be wasting my money on them again,but might go see Tate in November.
@@vigocountyscanner That's fair, but i refuse to see Tate after all the crap he did to the rest of his bandmates. I did enjoy Todd though. But, I haven't paid too much attention to them since 2017 tho. I do love Michael Wilton tho, he's a beast on the guitar.
@@cristyrawks6325 I'll agree MW is a beast on guitar. People make mistakes and I think Tate has done some pretty good stuff since his departure from QR. I don't mind going to a live show here and there especially since we couldn't for awhile,so need to get my fix of some live music again. I have several bootlegs of old QR shows both audio and video that I have been going over the past 18 months. Been very enjoyable hearing how they sounded back then.
@@vigocountyscanner Yeah I too am ready to go to a LIVE show, but with money being funny now, I have to be very picky and I would only go see 3 bands; Scorpions, Liliac and Black Swan Band, IF they ever went on tour. Scorps are dropping a new album and hitting the road again next year. So we'll see. Rawk on
You missed out. Operation Mindcrime/Empire was the best concert I’ve ever seen. There was magic with the original lineup. Sure Todd can sing but he doesn’t make you feel it the way Geoff does. Seems the Band members have moved on from the drama that happened over a decade ago but some fans can’t let it go.
Summer of 91. Bout to begin junior year of college. I worked on a wheat harvest crew in the summers. I was kinda hot for this chick Rainey (Rae Lynn). We got ‘rained ‘’out in Texas and headed home to Kansas unexpectedly . Went to this massive party and Rainey was there. Couple hours of partying we ended up in the backseat . Thunderstorms, rain pouring down , I’m with Rainey, and another rainy night came on the radio and blasted it . Truly magical. Had the world by the short and curly’s back then
Magical might have been a little strong. Maybe it was the Busch beer. A buddy said how come u didn’t marry this girl? Well, I never contacted her again and when college started up I ran into her at a bar. She was friends with a bouncer. I got thrown out the back door. Walked around to the front and went back in and promptly got kicked out the front. But that rainy night it was queensryche that’s the memory. She’s like a fart in the wind
