    I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I will be using it for a reference. It has helped me immensely with the engine that I have. You did a great job.

    The clear part was supposed to go in after the special oring then the black rubber gasket when you were building the pulse side. Mine had two clear plastic diaphrams inside one on each side of that plate with the check valves.

    Theres a tool called an impact driver that works like a charm on those stuck carb screws, looks like a fat chisel, when you wack it with a hammer it applies rotational force at the time of impact, takes even horribly stripped screws out

    Awesome vid! Really helped me rebuild my carb for my wave runner. Quick question though. My return line acts as if it’s clogged? I change out all my fuel lines so I pulled if my return to blow in it to get fuel through the system and get air out but fuel refuses to come out of it. So I took it all apart again and blew into the return nipple on carb and I can’t blow through. Is there like a check valve in there possibly because from what I can tell there’s nothing in there as far as dirt and debree.

      trace Walton Use an individual piece of long wire say one strand from a piece of speaker wire and use that to clear the tiny orifice.

    • @shannonwilliams601
      @shannonwilliams601 4 года назад

      Some of them have a little fuel check valve ball inside if not pull the elbow and poke small wire and make sure it's clear you should be able to feel the check valve ball in there if it's there

    I'm looking to rebuild my carburetor and this doesn't look to bad, but how do you remember where all the fuel lines go? theres so many of them! i also don't understand adjusting the carburetor so that it runs right in the water. guess i still have quite a bit of learning to do

      Take a bunch of pictures before and during disassembly. That should help when going back together.

  • @gripguy6056

    Hello, did the round check valves in the kit have a blue line on them or anything to indicate which side they mount on ?

    • @A-mechanics-review-4U
      @A-mechanics-review-4U 4 года назад

      Grip Guy They should have a blue line and the blue line faces upward when mounting. At least that will be in the Ginuwine Mikuni rebuild kit which I recommend if you go with the WSM or aftermarket rebuild kits you will be sorry there’s a big difference in price but it’s for a reason!

    I'm watching this intently, you cut away..when you came back the retainer was gone. you didn't put the retainer clip on that brass piece the needle goes in. PS..I lost the screw that hold the cantilever:/

      Go to SBT. Com and get your kits there and you have to tear down your carburetors and pull the seat out to be able to tell them the size you need and make sure you always do a entire fuel pressure check test because if not you will fry cylinder

    • @You-Tube...005
      @You-Tube...005  5 лет назад

      I haven't put the ski back together yet. It's popping off right at 30psi. I was concerned about the different springs in the kit. I keep them all, including the old one just in case.

      These particular carbs were removed from a 99 Yamaha WaveRunner. These same carburetors were installed on many different makes and models.
      Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    This guy don't have a clue he didn't blow air through the orifices and he just picked a spring at random you have to set your pop off pressure or it will not run correctly
