Skypiercer has a attribute of a execute.. as we all know the power of execute spell that can avoid shield and direct to the HP loss if u cast it.

In Wild Rift, Collector (or any other execute) shows that it deals 9999 true damage, but in death recap, they show the exact damage. It can even be 2k damage if you have a very large shield like Sett's and it happens for you to have less than 5% HP
This item main purpose was to make it easier for some hero to last hit but people abused it and use on pretty much every hero which stupid but annoying af
No need nerf just remove it.. Or if that's hard... Give a new def item that counters this item instead

The counter to this item is gitgud. Is not broken, stop the cap. The only utility this item give its a execution at 4% hp, wherever item that give you shield or heal more than 4% or hp, it already counter it.

It was already accurate, the visual just showed 9999, but you could check how much dmg this item deals if you were killed by it’s effect

it must've been an error with hororo's side but it doesn't change the fact that it completely ignores aegis or shields in general which is completely imbalance. aegis is pretty much useless spell now or those who rely with shields for survivality such as hanabi. it also takes away the main purpose of the execute spell and makes it utterly useless because Sky Piercer can already do the job. they should've made the feature exclusive to the execute spell.

Leslie: Pasif Triggered>TRUEDAMAGE>YOUR HP>DEATH/LIFE.
To make SP got triggered, enemy must dealed damage first and reach the HP treshold to make this item Trigered it's passive and kill you.
In this video only explain when you used aegis when your HP already on the treshold for SP EFFECT TO TRIGGERED.
THE QUESTION IS, WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOU TRIGERED AEGIS BEFORE THE TRESHOLD HP REACH?
THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE.
ENEMY MUST DEPLETED THE AEGIS SHIELD FIRST BEFORE HE CAN DECREASED YOUR HP AGAIN TO A TRESHOLD THAT SP EFFECT ACTIVATED.
AND TO REACH MAX STACK For SP IS NOT SO THAT EASY EITHER. IF YOUR ENEMY CAN REACHED HIGH STACK. THEN THE PROBLEM IS IN YOUR TEAM. FoR NOT TARGETING THAT HERO TO REDUCED ITS STACK.

This is what happens when content makers don't properly test, research or understand some features. Many players getting misled to things with lacking of understanding the things.
What's hilarious is Hororo has countless videos asserting "Hero A" is OP with this build when in fact it is not given for that there is a wide player skill variety in advanced server (expect some warrior-level players and the access is very limited) and total stomp lineup.

@@Fielith it's literally the same just the damage number is now the true amount of damage it deals instead of showing 9999 true damage.
It's not a nerf, just visual adjustments. It's still works like the old one and Execute. It will ignore the shield.
They could've made to adaptive (physical or magic) damage

It is made to finish off enemies with a chunk of HP left giving damage, changing the true damage to adaptive damage ruins it's whole purpose. If it's adaptive, it can be countered by defense, thus not being able to finish off the enemy.

It's looks like it's not a nerf but they just normalize the damage. It turned out it eats your remaining HP when you down on a specific percentage. Why will you need 9999 true damage if you are only 10% HP left?
uhm no hororo, they didn't nerf its damage, its still an execute, they just made it display the correct damage it deals instead of 9999, cuz other players think that seeing the 9999 text is very op, its just a visual update, no damage/mechanic change
The 9999 dmg displays you got executed :) they remove the visual that indicates you got executed by the item effect because it's an execute
Since players have a hard time understanding this they just display the damage that executes you AND since it's an EXECUTION item any means like shield or so won't protect you from getting executed :) it doesn't need a nerf. Players need reading comprehension buff and as well as being diagnosed with skill issue
Its like this since shields do not count as hp. The Sky Piercer will only work on your hp but not the shield making aegis useless when used late.

I think we need to think about fairness and literally what happen in game right now, Aegis basically useless and Lesley, Brody and finisher heroes always secure kill with Ult
Lesly, karrie, alpha also have true damage... You can still survive with aegis... But this item NO... IT'S BROKEN TO CORE... EVERY MF USE THIS ITEM... I EVEN SEE DAMAGE SUPPORTS USING THIS TRASH ITEM LIKE IT LOST IT'S VALUE SINCE MANY ABUSES IT

Habit to used aegis when hp in critical.
Change that habit, then aegis will still uphold it's purpose.

It not actually a nerf, the 9999 damage is just visual to show its executed. So its not actually 9999 in the first place, but its the actual HP left of the enemy hit. Moreover, sky piercer's damage is similar to EXECUTE SPELL. IT IGNORES SHIELD. It was meant to instakill after low hp.
I'm pretty sure the damage is still 9999 but only the damage needed to kill the hero will be displayed.
Sp always ignored shields and it never did 9999 dmg if u looked at death detailes it always showed how much it did

Execute typ skills/ abilities e always ignore shield like execute and sky piercer they had execute type ability which pretty much ignore anything
Someone can say sky pierce it's pretty useless against heroes with few HP... suppose that Sky pierce have full stack you can finish 12% hp max so for heroes around 4000hp, this item deal 480 damage... Very low 🥱

The passive of Skypiercer negates all kinds of shield just like execute spell. It's not a nerf.
Also to add, Skypiercer's damage was never '9999damage' at all, it was just the visuals that they now have fixed so you can see the real damage 'skypiercer' dealt.

The WON's active can only block *PHY* atks. Which means it cannot counter magic and *True DMG*
I think it is time to buff agies since they nerf it to not benefit allies. Make agies shield block stun and item dmg like SP but reduce the time it last and increase cd to 100.

but the main point of the video is that true damages are not supposed to bypass shields. take a look at lesley or karrie, even if you dealt true damage to an enemy with a shield they cannot damage their health directly. the only true damage that bypasses shields is the execute spell but that would make the spell useless since you can just buy sky piercer. the feature should've been only exclusive to execute spell. in addition to that, aegis would be completely useless againt sky piercer users, that makes it very overpowered.

not all true damage, it ignores damage reduction and defense but sheilds act like an extension to your hp bar, execute, esme, and SP do ignore sheild though

@@horlicksft.bournvita4933 execute has a cd, a set amount of damage (which, tbf, scales with missing hp, but is not just as much hp as you got left and it is single target instead of a single aoe skill being able to proc it up to 5 times) and a set range, enough said
also excute cant be used twice on an enemy with immo, SP triggers twice, before and after the revive, almost completely nullifying a whole item

@@horlicksft.bournvita4933 i do use it on almost every hero i use, if it broke abuse it, but i can also see how it makes the game less fun and more unbalanced when even tanks and supports run it to help ensure kills instead of another defensive item
if they changed it to assassin/fighter benefits 100%, mage/mm 75%, and tanks/supports benefit from 50% of the hp threshold or something of the sort then maybe it would be more balanced instead of just making a snowball hurt more by making it take forever to stack when u behind and now it needs 3 kills to get back to full if you die with 80 stacks
Anything that provides automatic execute on low hp enemies shouldn't be a thing (not item nor ability) In my opinion it is very unskillful and annoying to deal with and has pretty much no counter. Now you can't make these sick low hp escapes 😂😂😂.

Firstly, I believe that SP always has been ignores shields to activate. Secondly, the previous 9999 dmg number was there based on the assumption that when you trigger it, the enemy will and WILL die no matter what, it doesn't matter whether you display it as 9999 or the actual dmg. So SP is working as intended as it is. Dev just readjust the dmg display to match the actual number.

The dmg was never 9999, that's just how it was displayed. Not it simply accurately displays the exact necessary dmg dealt for the execution. And it always ignored shields, it's not new

They just fixed the exact amount of dmg that actually kill an enemy with the item, no nerf on sky piercer. And sky piercer actually ignore shield, so no need to worry about anything on this item.
It should have a cooldown and instead of increasing the threshold when you get a kill it should lower the cooldown instead.
I hate this item, it sucks out the fun of surviving with a sliver of life left.
Also that is not a nerf they just changed the numerical value of the damage it does.
