(Not defending his use, but he has never called himself that and has stopped using that word after Cherry Bomb, meaning by the time the diss came out he hadn’t used the word since) Of course Tyler used the slur too and that isn’t good at all, but nobody said that him using it wasn’t. My favorite moment from 8 mile is when he says "Pauls gay, you're a f*g**t". There is a distinction in the hood between just being generally gay and being an insufferable person. I remember being called a f*g growing up and I wasn't obviously gay I was just nerdy.
