No debate. Abbey Road was the Beatles' best. What a masterpiece.
Ab-so-lute-ly!!!
this is the only correct answer
There are other candidates for 'best', but Abbey Rd was the perfect swansong. And certainly, yet another masterpiece.
When I first heard it I thought it was their goodbye. I was surprised when "Let it Be" came out soon afterwards. That is why I have always suspected that "Abbey Road" was actually written or recorded after "Let it Be".

This piece of music will be around as long as the human race.
Like Mozart or Beethoven.
It's a timeline classic.
100% Couldn't agree more.!! Well said.
Totally agree
Definately agree!!@@amorenovlog
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make. Amen..
I've played shit loads of music to my 5 year old boy, and the one band that he always comes back to is the Beatles, he adores them, when I tell him they're older than his grandad he can't believe it.
I was exactly the same way at that age but that was 45 years ago. Wouldn’t have mattered to me how long ago it was though.
Beatles songs are immortal❤
For some reason growing up not when Beatlemania was around but exposed and discovered they truly are and have pop sensibility while endeavoring artistic creation
makes me want to cry any time i hear musicians caring enough to get it right AND perform this music WITH the full-potential of spirit.
....THANK YOU!

This shows what brilliant vocalists the Beatles were. Everything sounded effortless when they sang.
Agree, and I appreciate the effort of these musicians. That said, I can't help adding that the first "Paul" vocalist conjures up a scenario where the Beatles wrote the music for Abbey Road then hired David Clayton-Thomas to do Paul's vocal parts.
Actually the Beatles show what brilliant vocalist the Beatles were.
I was gonna say. Ask the musicians if anything above this was easy! I reckon it's the fruit of lots of hard work, married to a huge love of the Beatles and one hell of a lot of musical talent.
Which again brings us back to the original Beatles. Who CAME UP with this stuff. Ok, not quite so beautifully heavy, but.....
Gotta fookin luv Sheff and the great people who live there!
You have chosen the most mature Beatles album ever recorded and the best part of it. And did an excellent job!
Indeed I'va always wanted to see and here covers of their mature beatles songs/album
I’m 73 and what an amazing journey the The Beatles took us on. Every morning getting dressed for school and you would hear a new single they just released one better than the previous one that were all great. Long Live the Fab 4.
Same experience & history here, b1960.
Having just listened to this for the first time. What an amazing show. Makes me wish I had been in the audience.
Great job. It's wonderful to see so many young people enjoying the Beatles.
This I find very satisfying, that so many young people are still digging The Beatles, and will do for generations 😊
The Beatles are bigger than life.
well, bigger than Taylor swift
The Beatles as bigger as the own life
Nobody even comes close. So many bands have come and gone and will eventually be forgotten. The Beatles will be remembered forever!
The Beatles were a gift to mankind from the Music Gods.
😀😀😀 We are NOT worthy of such a fantastic gift.
Thank You Music Gods !!!!
Always happy to see an tribute to the amazing Beatles.

And Thank you John, Paul, George and Ringo ... (and George M).
How has this only just landed in my RUclips feed ? That was awesome as long time Beatles fan thank for keeping their music alive . 😊
This shows what effect the Beatles had to all people and bands.what a great music..and that magic feeling
I do not know why and I am biased , not a boomer growing up with them but I know what you mean
(effect) had on all...
Resumindo os caras em foda mesmo
This wonderful music moves me to tears.
The Beatles music lives on generation after generation. Great show
Thanks a lot from France and all over our planet, it was so great
Abbey Road is like a long and widding road to the sky!!! Thank you very genius The Beatles
Thanks a lot for the original Beatles spirit!!!
This deserves A Million Likes!!🔥
these musicians dare to play the beatles' most elaborate songs and they really do it. my admiration and respect to them
What an absolute brilliant performance! BRAVO!!!!❤
To hear and see my favourite piece of Beatles musical mastery being played by another generation with such joy and passion takes me back to when I first heard it all those years ago - when I was probably about your age:)
An energetic, spirited, top notch performance of timeless music!
Bravo Sheffield Beatles Project!! This is not an easy piece to play or sing with all the movements, harmonies, lead vocal changes. Ive covered it myself so i know all the little intricacies. " Here Comes the Sun King" with its crazy made up foreign lyrics was the tough one for me, you guys pulled it off well. It was great you had female voices doing the high harmonies,,i think on the original record the Beatles had some too. Would love to hear your Orchestra tackle more Beatles songs.
Went to see them do Revolver last year . Going next week to see them do Sgt Peppers they are also throwing in Pet Sounds for food measure
This music needs to be performed... and often.
Yes
Impressed with Jack Westin vocals, he has some kind of potential. Beatlemanics will notice that Paul's vocal range is split up among 3(?) very talented vocalists in this group - but that's just how incredible Paul was in the day.
After 50 plus years this song still holds up extremely well. If I were Paul McCartney I would have attended this concert just to show appreciate to all the hard work this 40 piece band has put in. How wonderful it must be to be Paul McCartney. For 99.99% of the people on this planet, people do not care if you live or die. You are forgotten even while you are still alive. Paul McCartney is now 80 years old and people throughout the world still shower him with love and affection everyday. John Lennon passed away over 40 years ago and people still celebrate his birthday every year by singing his songs.
AMEN.
Plus, featuring George Harrison, John Lennon and Ringo Starr.
@@grahammcbean6362 haha my thoughts too... Paul didn't write ALL of these songs!
John and George live on as immortal Gods, performing in spirit with all these fine young people…..
The performance was great. All of you are special. Thank you for this.
So glad you shared your show, loved every second such talent !
The vocals here were epic. Just lovely
....wwowy... so happy to see the Medley being passed on through the generations... Abbey Road forever xx
What a privilege it must have been to be present at this performance. Brilliant.
I was there it is an annual event , a different album highlighted ever year , they are excellent Went to this years project last week which was Revolver
It's great to see people so inspired by the Beatles in 2022, it's wonderful! I'm sure the Beatles never dreamed their music would become such a classic, to be recreated on into the future, much like the works of Bach, Chopin or Mozart.
O my Lord this is exquisite. Thank you and God bless all of you. Best wishes from the Flatiron neighborhood in Manhattan in NYC in December of 2021. 🎼🎵🎶🎵🎵🎙🎸🎹🥁🔉🖨 😊❤👍

Simply marvelous. Thank you.
"Polythene Pam" has to be one of the first examples of glam rock ever recorded. Once I got over the fact that this wasn't attempting to be an exact reproduction of the original (for ex. the drumming wasn't very Ringo) I enjoyed it a lot more. Nice job, everyone!
I can not say if Abbey Road was my personal favorite Beatles album or not. It is impossible for me to choose because I love them all equally. But I can say I feel pretty strongly that it was an example of their best studio performance work bar none. I never tire of it.
The Abbey Road Medley contains all that came before in
Rock music and all that was to come ...!
great energy, and I love their take on it
Absolutely brilliant 👍
Really beautiful. The Analogues doing Abbey Road using as close to the original instruments as possible is mind blowing
Fantastic!
That was great guys, very enjoyable.👏👏👏
Only the Beatles could do such a disparate mash-up and make it sound as if it were a single song .... genius on full display.
With a little help from their friends
Wow!!! I've always been sad that Beatles didn't do more concerts, especially during the second half of the 60s. From all the countless coverbands I've heard, you guys might be the first ones to capture Beatles' playfulness and imperfect perfections. Converting a studio-album to a live performance, preserving the details/nuances while bringing live, raw energy and soul is EXTREMELY hard and you guys did it so well. I hope the people watching this realise that. I loved how true to the originals you were, like Ringo (and Pauls) drumsolo in The End, the guitarlicks(and effects/sound), and the backing vocals, while still keeping it fresh and soulful. So many nice details. The vocalists were great. The mix/engineering was great. The horns and strings. I'll stop listing great stuff now as everything was great. Keep on rockin guys!
Many thanks and much love from Norway
Check out the Analogues, you'll be blown away.
Check these guys out. ruclips.net/video/JPqX7okwJ7g/видео.html
a treasure to be celebrated as long as there is music.
Abbey Road is my enduring favourite, as a tour de force of writing, arrangement and playing, with more diversity of key, time signatures, entire musical styles and genres, replete on the album with terrific additional effects. It blows me away still, 48 years since I first started listening to it carefully, aged 15.
When you listen to it very intently, there seems to be a dozen different musicians, some of whom are virtuoso players, a wider range of vocal styles than in any comparable 20 minute stretch, not only of Beatles music, but of any other band. It’s also my go-to when I want again to marvel at the skills of the drumming. Just astonishing. Not to forget the producer, the orchestral arranger, the sound engineers & mixers, all woven into a perfect aural artefact.
And what a knockout accomplishment for all at The Sheffield Beatles Project. They look to have had a lot of fun pulling this together and finally, pulling it off like they indisputably have. Kudos ❤
This is how you can tell if your music is good. 54 years and 3 generations later it is still being performed. (And will be many years in the future)
It was so worth the joy, energy up there! Thank you, beautiful vocals, everyone gave it their all!
goosebumps down under--wonderful--we will never see the likes of them again
Incredible ! Awesome ! May be I'm amazed ! will understand whoever wants .... The drummer at 14:45 !! The band and the orchestra !! Thanks for these moments of emotion and hapiness ( is a warm gun ... )
Keep it alive. This is the classical timeless music of the future.

I was 15 when this came out and got the LP for my 12 y.o. brother for Christmas. Since then, I've had versions of it on cassette, 8 track tape, CD and now Spotify. Great to hear this band continuing the music! Thank you!
superb. Lots of great musicians but my fav was the drummer
I’m with you, so glad I am not alone in that admiration. Wasn’t be brilliant? I almost whooped when he chucked himself headlong into the most complex drumming part and look at how much fun he had, pulling it off without a slip. Bet they didn’t do this in under a score of takes in the studio.
Best thing I've listened to in a long time. Wow.
Wonderful. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing performance. Loved it.
Absolutely amazing the effect people have on each other; for better and/or worse. Perhaps there's a deeper lesson in there; somewhere....
Say what??tuesday.on the phone to me..classic..what a song what a band..
Maravilha...coisa linda de ver e ouvir...músicas imortais...Viva The Beatles.....muito sucesso aí pra banda cover...
Lovely to hear this. Pitty tough The Beatles themselves never did this live !
Greatest medley in the history of the music.
beatles for ever, amazing.
I saw this 5 piece band in Dallas and they did this melody. Not a Beatles cover band. The lead singer was from Liverpool so he had the accent. He was almost speaking the lyrics in tune and not trying to imitate. His backup was spot on. Best cover I've ever seen 😊
This is amazing. Well done. Such a huge project and it turned out magnificently.
I always heard this music as being very specific to it's time all those years ago. Performed this way I noticed how current and timeless the songs are. What a treat!
Such an epic song!
Whenever I get to The End of listening to Abbey Road - knowing it was the last time all 4 played together - I feel like Dave Bowman when he looked into the monolith and says, “It’s full of stars."
If Lennon had lived longer, I feel sure he would have come to appreciate what is surely the most poignant swan song of all time.
Side 2 of Abbey Road tied up all the loose ends into the grandest of grand finales, proving The Beatles were connected, even if for a relatively short period of time, all across the universe.
Al que no le guste al menos una canción de los Beatles ..no le gusta la música..y el que no le gusta la música no está vivo....Alfredo..
Absolutely fantastic! Pure joy, creativity and a piece of music that was already classic in 1969! What would life be without stuff like this?!
I can watch and listen to this over and over. You've accomplished something the Beatles never did, play "the Long One" start to finish. Well done.
Brilliant well done everyone.
LOVED IT!
Fantastic! extremely well put together.
What a beautiful rendition !
Audience smiling. As The Beatles meant it to be imho
When I bought and listened to "Abbey Road" I thought it was the Beatles' goodbye. I was surprised when "Let it Be" came out soon afterwards. That is why I have always suspected that "Abbey Road" was actually written or recorded after "Let it Be".
Abbey Road sounds like the four came together and said; "Guys, if this is the last one, let's play the hell out of it"
Это шедевр на века!!!🎉
Abbey Road is my favourite Beatles piece of work I bought it as a 13 year old and was one of the first albums I ever bought. I think you do an excellent job of it and I would love to see you live but live in Rossendale
Fabulous!!!
this is OUTSTANDING!
Giants walk the earth amongst us once again
i went to the Cavern Club this year for the first time, everybody should do this once in the life , i don´t know when i can come back , great experience ,.
That is Awesome! Im a Beatles fan since 1994 (im 1988) - that version I aprove! That Music and performance was made with big love and respect to Original! P.S. usually i hate remakes of all kindes! But that is an exeption! Great work!
It's absolute gems like this video that make RUclips worth watching. And cute cat videos.
Wondereful, thank you for making my day!
Does anyone else notice the importance of the bass? I am learning the bass, and never get respect. Great job to all involved 👏 👍 👌 🙌 😀
You’re right. The bass drives the entire tempo and particularly the feel of a piece, competing from time to time with the drums for those accolades.
Paul.
I just can say...I'm in heaven...
Bits and pieces of songs. Better than most could do with a whole song.
Yes, there are enough musical styles for average recording bands to create an album each by emulating & expanding those individual styles. Paul’s voice and range is captured reasonably well here. Nice 😊
Great job…..loved that!
Битлс на всё времена, спасибо,
You all nailed it! Bravo!!!
Absolutely brilliant, thank you
