Very cool. I am jealous of your 8 Escudo cob! I wish I had gotten into collecting cobs when I was younger, when you could buy one of those for a couple hundred. Now, I can't find an 8E for less than about $15,000 minimum, most closer to $20k+. I bought a 2E several years ago that is very nice. But even they are around $2,000 now! Insane.
I'm not sure, but based on the wreck it came from, it is almost certainly a Dutch rider coin (knight on horseback) similar the one I show in the video. I'm a big fan of various types of patina on things, and I really like that this coin is just the way it was found on the ocean floor. I feel more connected to the wreck holding the cocoon than I do holding a cleaned up coin.
That’s beauty to the eyes! That’s an amazing collection!!!
What a marvellous collection you´ve got there! Love them all!
Super cool set.
Awesome Collection!
Very beautiful coins, they look like they were clean at one time.

An amazing collection, I enjoy coins of the world and have some, but nothing so beautiful and grand. Take care. Would love to see any new additions.

@@luisamarialekue6828 It depends upon where you live. It is not legal in Catalunya. However, I think that the laws may be different in other regions.
Now I want to know what’s in that cocoon coin heh, is it possible to open it up without damaging the coin
