    I am SO GLAD I found this video today before I ordered toner. All these toners are clearanced out at $2 a piece at salon centric, I have only used these once but needed this info to stock up on the colors that work for my hair. SO MUCH great info.
    The screenshot for us, explaining B means brown and not blue ect.
    Thank you!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Thank you so much for this video! I’m am brand new to using these. I’ve been trying different brands of toners to find something closest to shades eq and so far Paul mitchell Demi’s have been the closest. I tried to use 7p on a bleach retouch I did today that was very yellow and it seemed to put red back into it… ugh I was so disappointed!! But, I thought, I’m not going to give up! I’m going to watch some videos and see what I did wrong. This video really helped and I’m definitely going to get me a chart!

    Hey there! So I bought a wig recently and and it is quite a yellow/orangey golden blonde with red brown maybe level 6 roots and bangs. The wig is actually cute even with the brass but eventually I wanna try and neutral it out and get the blonde not yellow and light orange and change the root color from the red undertoned to a neutral brown. Should I use the 6MT on the roots and bangs and then use like a 9BV for the blonde mids and ends?

    • @meganlorson

      Hi Susanna! Yes I’m guessing it tried lifting your hair some with the 20 volume developer. It’s only recommended to use Processing Liquid with the Demi because it has a lower volume of peroxide in it. I wish I could help you but I would need to see your hair in order to know how to fix it.

      @@meganlorson thank you. But when it says its non lift how come the developer lifts anyways? If I would have used a dark color with a 20 vol developer then it wouldnt go lighter either right? I thought that the lift only happens when there is bleach or something that says that it lifts.

    • @meganlorson
      @meganlorson 3 года назад +1

      It’s only considered a non lift when mixed with the right developer, the reason it lifted was because it was mixed with 20 volume developer which is a higher developer than what the Demi was designed /recommended to
      Be mixed with. The Developer is what determines if it will lift or deposit color. I like to think of the developer as “the energy” and when it’s mixed with color or lighteners the combination of the 2 is what will determine if it will lift or just deposit color.
