When I overlap the coins for a merge and hold it there and then tap "Collect" without letting go of the coins, it seems to collect the coin I'm holding and merge them at the same time. Although it takes away the need to let go with good timing, you will automatically be holding one of the next level coins. So if you try this you will have to move it before letting go or you will also collect it by accident.

Hi Beorfox. I found out you don't have to let go of the original at all. If you hold it in merge mode and just click collect. It gives you the bonus and the two new items.
I just tested this method in May 2023 and it eats one of the higher level items. I tested with stones. I floated the 5th stone over the other 4 stone and pressed the “collect” button. The 5 stones merged, I got the stones added to my inventory, but only 1 higher-level stone was placed on the board. In another test, when I released the 5th stone while pressing “collect”, I was credited with the value of the 5th stone AND had 2 higher level stones dropped on the ground.

Hi Damian! This trick is not related to cloud save. I have heard about many Merge Dragons having issues about cloud save, but I think is more related to facebook then the game. Sometimes it stops saving and after a while it works again...

also for the hack, alll i am doing is pretending to merge the 5 gems and clicking only collect, I have tried that way for few time , this way its confirmed that you will get extra points even if you don't release your merge. hope I am making sense :d

Go into setting and set it to overlap to merge. Also the best way to get gems is to play the levels and if you get a dragon star from level rewards don't collect it and wait until you finish the level and it will allow you to take it back to camp for free.
Hi Roka! I just found out by one of my subscribers that you dont need to worry about the timming! Just pretend to merge and click collect! It will collect and also make the merge by it self!

Log in to your Facebook account, refreshing your connection. This works for me when it won't connect.
Sometimes exiting and waiting can help with the cloud save. Sometimes I have to switch between the Facebook save ajd my Apple save

Open 1 space (make sure that it’s tappable) the go outside your camp go back In then open 1 space do it again. Repeat to get infinite apples
