I finished the series and only have one complaint. Not enough episodes I want more 😂 what a brilliant show and Jenna Ortega really got the character of Wednsday splendidly. Dark, macabre, yet funny and had a Harry Potter like feel to it. Love it 10/10.

I'm not the only person who liked this series so far. I immediately liked it after the first episode. Wednesday is so good. I think we need more than 2 seasons. As long as the writing and characters are as good as they are in this season

NGL, I was so concerned that no one would be able to capture Wednesday as well as Christina Ricci, but this show and Jenna Ortega really proved me wrong. Really enjoyed this series as a fan of the older Addams Family films. Also, the Thing was just as awesome as I recall. I'm really looking forward to a season 2.

A show I never even new I needed to watch until I watched it. Now I can't stop watching clips on RUclips and waiting for the second season. And have to say Jenna smashed playing Wednesday kept true to the original versions but also made it modern
What I love about this show is they kept this sort of omnipotent, strange, creepy competent’s that Wednesday has that makes her such a funny character (pretty much what is the little girl demons/serial killer was the main character) but they didn’t make her a power fantasy. She had faults and problems.and needs help to get things done, I also like that they made her such an introvert like she doesn’t want to be around people, and she’s annoyed when people start to like her

Jenna admits that she didn’t receive any guidance from Christina Ricci on how to make this character come to life. The fact that Jenna did this merely off her own research without virtually any professional guidance is mind blowing. 😊
Mind blowing? Calm down. It's really not difficult to watch previous wednesdays to get their mannerisms down then put on a costume. I swear people are so easily pleased.
@@Zwia. I disagree. Even a role like this has certain nuances and quirks that need to be accounted for. It can easily be overdone and too robotic, or not done enough and not feel appropriate to the character. Jenna nailed this role.

Several girls have tried to play Wednesday and haven’t done it justice, either by being way too macabre or not enough without layers. If you truly knew what you were talking about, you’d know that Jenna in some way elevated the character development Lisa, Christina and even Melissa brought to the table. She took Wednesday and made it HER OWN. Not many actors can do that, especially when they know they’re being scrutinized by a cult following, not to mention having to work alongside one of the legends of the role.

Myers-Briggs is utter nonsense created by a mother and daughter with no formal education in psychology. It isn't widely supported by psychologists or academic researchers and Wednesday herself would likely mock you for putting stock in that pseudoscience.

The series and Jenna Ortega's portrayal of Wednesday Addams were PHENOMENAL. More seasons, but most importantly keep the quality as a priority, instead of the quantity if at some weird point both is not an option. That's what made the show amazing. The quality of the producers to the one and only Tim Burton as the exec one and creator of it, to the casting, to the music, the costumes, the make up artists, the cinematography, directing, scenario/screenwriting and don't get me started on improvisation which hints me to why the show was such a hit on top of the other obvious reasons I mentioned. To think that Jenna Ortega improvised her dance scene and created it from scratch all on her own just two days before filming the prom scene, it's INSANE. Bravo, can't wait for season 2. ❤️
