@@ArthurBaum either way - great work dude - you got a new sub. Making me consider switching to UE5 from Maya/ZBrush/Substance/Nuke pipeline to be sure ;)
Ultimately it boils down to composition, lighting, color and narrative. If you're not satisfied with your Footage I'd suggest to invest some time in the basics of Photography and cinematography. The drips are a simple material function inside the Ultra Dynamic Sky plugin.
@@ArthurBaum Hmm, thank you, but I think it's more the subtleties that aren't really explained in tutorials and make all the difference. For example, I use Dynamic Sky but I've never seen lightning like that, nor rays from the sun, nor clouds with objects passing through them. The rendering quality as well is far better than what any "high quality render" tutorial chucks out. There's definitely more going on than Cinematography (although don't get me wrong there is excellent quantities of that) and I think that's why so many are asking for tutorials, as it's these subtleties that are so difficult to discover. The "wet" MetaHuman skin is a prime example of this. Everything looks so real, crisp and fresh whilst most people, including myself, can't quite reach the mark. Thank you for the material tip, I'll be using that!
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 This is my favorite project from you yet! The film with the poem is a close second. Have you experimented with path tracing or rendering in Omniverse yet?
I love how real your meta human looks! Would you please share your render settings, also did you render locally or with a render farm? I’m amazed with the photo realism great work!
@@silverbulletin846 Actually this project was created with an RTX 3060 (12gb version). Generally I'd say the more VRAM the better. Though if you invest some time to learn about optimization you can easily create massive scenes without issues. For example: after about 1-2 meters you can't even tell any more whether certain meshes have a 4k or a 2k texture. So don't waste your precious memory budget like I did in the beginning of my Unreal journey.
@@ArthurBaum Thank you for the quick response. Is there a particular Niagara tutorial that you learned from that I can look at for reference and learn from? Or will any tut do?
@@HandsomeDragon Nöz really, sorry. I’ve learned it the hard way haha. But try searching something like „Niagara mesh“. Maybe I’ll do a tutorial some time.

Hello! My group and I are currently working on a huge fan film project called “Star Wars Revan Malachor V” fan film and while looking around I stumbled upon your epic video. I was thinking some of the stuff you did here could be applied really well to our fan film. Would you be open to talking on discord or somewhere about working in some minor or major capacity on this project?
Thanks for the kind words. While I do love to support ambitious fan projects IF they have a solid script, I have to pass on this one. Sorry, but I'm just not into Star Wars. ): All the best for your project though!
@@ArthurBaum Hey thank you for the reply! Our film is actually a bit different than normal Star Wars as it’s actually an anti war film with an allegory to nuclear war. If that interests you at all and you’d like to see the script let me know🙂
Waow! This is stunning.... it should be made into a full length movie. Haunting, beautiful and touching ♥️
Good lord! This is probably the best looking cinematic I’ve seen from UE5. This looks insanely good, good job dude!
Thank you for the kind words. :)
dude come on
dude I loved this. I would love to see you making tutorials for this kind of scenes
I second this!!! Please make tutorials 🙏😭 this is TOO GOOD!!!
Thank you. I'm sorry, but that won't happen. Read the description please, the project is dead.
This is AMAZING. Pure ART. You're so talented! Wow. Keep on with the great work
This is very lovely of you. Gracias! (:
Intriguing and masterfully done. I particularly liked the water running down the stone.
I got Arrival into my mind watching this
Omg, this is sooo well put together
beautiful! Love the atmosphere!
Danke, Paul!
Can we talk about the eyes?? Jesus thats so realistic, good work man im impressed!
man!!! you took every details to the next level! totally gave me drillss!!

Cool use of the metahuman!
You are very talented !!!
Wow, this is incredible!
Great stuff, this was such a vibe!
Absolutely Brilliant
Remarkable!
Just amazing!!!
The camera work is so awesome...I hope that I could reach to your level!!!!
This is so good! Excellent work!
That was amazingly well done. Only thing I didn't like was the walk cycle. Mixamo?
Bingo! I know exactly what you mean. Some Mixamo animations look super mechanical and unorganic.

Great cinematography!
Chills ❤
Awesome work. Had done an unreal scene with rocks almost om same lines
flawless
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
absolutely amazing
Waw this is great. I felt like I was expecting abit of dirt to fall from under the rocks when they was lifted. Maybe a possible minor detail
Really nice work 👌🏼
This was Good..
Inception
Brilliant work!
Awesome
wow, that's insane
lovely man

Beautiful 😁
looks great.
incredible
Hi, can you tell me about your render settings? Just beautiful work, man.
NICE!
Bravo 👏👏👏
amazing!!!
Sehr gut..love from india
THE F**K. that was amazing
Hey how did you do the particles? Post processing or inside UE itself?
All inside Unreal. :)
Impresionante, sencillamente espectacular!!
Hello I was wondering where I could find a tutorial for the floating rocks scene! Amazing work btw really realistic!
Très beau j'adore l'ambiance, dommage le petit bug volumétrique à 1:09.
This is beautiful! I was wondering how you managed to get such well done hand animations
Thank you. On the character? You think there are well done? Haha. I don't know man. I'm not very satisfied.
amazing dude.. please make a full tutorial on it..
great short film cinemtic nice :) I am very curious how long did it take you per frame to render this? And what GPU are u on Arthur
How much time you spend on render?
May I ask what you used for the water down the rocks? Everything looks so realistic and perfect, everything I make always looks like washed out crap.

I simply fiddled around with the roughness in the material settings, yes. :)
Clever!

Thank you. I don't remember the render settings for this specific project any more sorry. ): Everything rendered locally. No biggy.

Sure! It's a Ryzen 5800x, GeForce 3090TI and 64gb of DDR4 Ram.
