    Kristin, I don’t have time to watch you every week, but when I find the time, it is a total treat watching your weekly updates! Thank you for brightening my week when I have a chance to catch up and see what you’re up to. 😊

    The Cande Pullover is an amaaazing pattern. I love mine and wear it all the time. A couple tips I like to share for those making it: 1. When the pattern suggests using stitch markers to denote repeats…use the markers. It’s only for a row or two, but it can get confusing really quickly. 2. Crocheted ribbing in fingering weight can cause a lot of people to lose steam. I did a FSC round with the number of stitches needed for my size and started from right after the ribbing. Then at the end, I picked up stitches at the collar, cuffs, and bottom and knit the ribbing. It went so fast and you would never know.

    Wow there are some nice items on your list. Let's see what you decide for. I just used your video to cast on something new and shiny myself. Gibson ruffle blouse by Fabel knits. Have a lovely day

    Boy you were reading my mind. I love knitting shawls. The problem is I have knit so many I am burnt out and will never wear them all. I'm talking like over 100 shawls. I started knitting sweaters all last winter, but then decided to knit a shawl this spring and when I got done I asked my self why did it knit a shawl! I love to knit but I need to knit other things. Thank you for the pattern ideas.

    Ya know… if I just stuck with alllll (ahem…gazillion) the Absolutely Gorgeous patterns (knit AND crochet - gasp) in my own queue, wellllll..
    And then you pop in w patterns I have not seen YET… sheesh !!
    But I can’t stay away from Ravelry, or everyone else’s lists… cuz… FOMO
    😂😂
    It’s a “thing”. I’m sure. Right? Please say Yes 😊

    You’ve inspired me to start a couple new projects that you showed. Pressed flowers shawl (been looking at that one for a bit) the Stephen West shawl, keep me going until the MKAL, and the Mauvelous. Very pretty!! Thank you for the ideas!!

    I know nothing about crocheting but I have an honest question…. Do you “cast on with crochet” or what do you call it?

  • @stillarobyn
    @stillarobyn Год назад +1

    I think it must be pronounced "mahhhh-vel-ous"!

    Regarding crochet tanks: it’s much more ethical to do your crochet yourself, because crochet can’t be done by machine. So do the tank!
