Guys i have a theory personally I think Lana’s doppleganger was working at the nail station and the Lana that’s locked up in the room is the REAL Lana she is wearing a skirt instead of jeans and seems upset. I believe that the real Lana has been locked up in there for months and now we can see. Her diary reads: “are you hearing me? As the previous diary entries are deceptions. Please trust me. -L” which makes me believe it’s the real Lana! Also there is an account called “Linadoesnails” her bio reads “I’ve always wanted to work for them-yet she was in my way. When she SUDDENLY DISAPPEARED one day, I asked to fill in the gaps she had left behind her..of course a salon can not function without its owner. I have a feeling everything I’VE WORKED FOR is temporary.” I believe this is referring to Lana and LINA was the doppleganger. PLS LIKE SO IZZY CAN SEE!!

Izzy, on the cage in the secret room, both of the cages have labels on the top of them. The one with the sad Lana is labeled 'Lana 001' and the empty cage is labeled 'Lana 002' which i find really creepy

I have a theory.
As we know, there is 2 Lana’s. I had another theory that there might be 3 though. I don’t know if that’s true though. Like you said, the portal room is boarded up now. I agree that the developers are trying to stop it. While the brat update was here, there was a necklace under the rug. It was quite hard to spot though. So this is what we have. The meat room was also patched. BUT…. This is the main thing I wanted to point out. There was a key in there… it had to be the one that unlocks Lana’s cage. Now I will explain why I thought there were three Lana’s. At the beginning of DTI, Lana was sweet, and there was no lore. Then things started happening. Many people at first thought she was mad because of always being called “the nail lady,” but as we can all tell, it’s gone deeper than that. I think at that point, that was the second lana. The 3rd lana, the evil one, sent out doppelgängers. This was in the maze game too. There were Lana’s everywhere. The lore was expanding, and evil lana needed to continue her legacy. But evil lana doesn’t look like lana. Evil lana looks similar to the season 3 monster of stranger things if yk what I mean. Evil lana sent a doppelgänger to take the place of her in the chair. The next lana was always being watched by evil lana… if you didn’t know, one window was patched by a bunch of leaves. In free play mode, you could glitch behind it. There is a picture of lana no.2 being watched by evil lana, the one that looks like a monster. She was getting creeped out, and then the book that says “I love my job, I love my job…” is what she wrote bc she was scared.
So that’s my theory! Lmk if you agree!

Theory: Okay, hear me out, the reason why lana(the doppelganger at the nail salon) is acting weird because lana (aka lana whos plotting to take over dti) snuck in dti and purposely did this to lana ( doppelagnger) so that she would malfunction and dti will HAVE to replace her cuz she is glitching like that so they sent a NAIL TECH HIRING poster in their discord server, i believe to find a new nail tech, now this is where linadoesnails comes in she applies for the job and gets the job eventually replace the doppelganger lana and all this time linadoesnails was ACTUALLY on lanas( aka the lana whos plotting to take over dti) side the ENTIRE TIME and helps lana to take over dti

IZZY, this might be helpful for you, the random numbers in the diary is a user ID, it will lead you to a profile called LinaDoesNails, shes apparently a replacement for Lana, what i think happened is that shes replacing Lana for good but i think when she was exploring her new salon, she might've found Lana in that secret room, and wrote that diary for Lana since it would be impossible for Lana to place it there at the small table.

izzy, the numbers on the diary brings u to a username which says ^linadoesnails but im pretty sure lina is there to replace lanas doppelangers and one of the people in linas friend list is ^serenadoesclothing so im pretty sure thats included in the lana lore.. hope that helps :)

1st one: i think lana is sick of being just the “ nail tech lady “ and wants to be more and when dress to impress over works her she finally breaks ( when she breaks is the update on april fools and chased people and put the nail salon on fire ) so she’s planning to find a way to takeover/ destroy dress to impress but since yk shes over worked she makes a doppelgänger to take over as nail tech when she can plan what to do. ( if i had to guess i would think she was staying / planning in the red silk room where the male clothes is or in the lobby where it’s now boarded up )( also in the brat update if you stayed next to her or kept looking at her she would twitch and her head would do back and forth… aka doppelgänger) So in this update lana found out people starting getting on to her and finding out so two thing could’ve happen #1 lana got caught in is now in the basement cuz dress to impress trapped her . or #2 lana fount out people knew so she kept the doppelgänger there and dress to impress caught the doppelgänger and not the real lana ….. ❤❤❤❤

Guys, I know what happened to Lana. The reason it seems like she moved out and she’s not the nail lady anymore is not true. They think that she left but she didn’t leave. She’s downstairs where the nail polisher spilled go in that cabinet and there’s a secret space and there’s a cage in there with Lana in it and the reason she’s in there is because the monster put her in there, and the monster is seeking revenge on everybody and I personally think it’s not real the person who’s in there and yeah I hope this helps if I’m wrong you can totally reply to this message and tell me😊

this is what i believe about the new lana lore!
in the room where lana is locked in, behind the cages on the wall. is a wall mural saying ‘nails’. we now know from the user id there is a new nail lady called ‘lina’. if we rearrange the word nails slightly, it spells lina.
this could also explain why in the room it says ‘her name is like mine, but she’s so different’. this could mean that maybe she is hinting to who could have let her down there?
in the diary with the lina user id, lina could be the person who wrote that as it is only signed ‘L’ not ‘lana’ which usually happens. the diary writes ‘the previous journal entries are deceptions, trust me’ but as we know. the original lana is locked up, and why would the person who locked her there keep that book there so we can find out more?

There is a cage that is empty named “Lana 002,” and my theory is that the Lana 002 is the one running the account for Lana on Roblox. Also, there is a new enemy listed on the Saudade group. It’s called “Lina’s Salon~” and it’s by the person called “Linadoesnails.” She’s most likely going to be the next nail tech at dress to impress…just my theory.

STORY:
I joined dti and saw everything then went to to check on the book near where you do your make-up and guess what I see.. Footprints with nail polish on the floor and then I went against the wall and I fall into the secret room my reaction was insane
I have a mini theory! The reason Lana has moved out, is because she has to be removed. The Lana in the chair was actually a bot, and started glitching. They replaced Lana with the bot, when Lana was trapped in the cage. I believe most of us now the Lana in the chair was a bot. If I am completely wrong with this tell me!!
My theory is:

The weirdest thing is that in Lina’s group, here’s only 5 people. But the problem is that EVERY SINGLE PEOPLE OF THE GROUP JOINED ON August 29th. And on August 29th, Lana posted
“How’s everyone today ?”. Lina said “how’s everyone today?”. But the thing that made me frustrated is that the people of Lina’s group are talking like bots. And they type random caps.
Maybe a secret message?
So maybe DTI team will hire Lina.
And Lana created 2 new games but we can’t join them yet.

in the room where Lana is trapped, there is a little table , and on that table is a new diary entry that says something about all the other entries being fake. and on the page next to that is says a code which leads you to Lana's new avatar. there are many fake ones ,but the one with blonde hair and blood on her clothes is the real one.Hope this helps!
My theory:
The reason the doublegangers are mostly gone is bc they are slowly going crazy like the previous nail tech, they are slowly gaining their conscious. Also yk how Agamemnon said he needs to make the ‘perfect’ doubleganger I think that also ties to that as the arent ‘perfect’ and he needs them for experimentation. (Idk)

Bare with me here .. I think that there was a fake Lana that was replacing the old Lana and the fake Lana is trying to take over but The developers are keeping her from doing that. If you look at the cages in the secret room. The first one says cage one and then the second one says cage two which makes me think that maybe the developers are leaving that cage for the fake Lana. I don't really know what to think anymore because there's so many people with different theories
Here are a few things u missed: theres an account called ‘LinaDoesNails’ and her bio reads that she wanted to work for dti but lana was in her way, when she disappeared lina started working for them. My theory is that lina was the lana doppelganger working at her salon, and the lana in the cage is also lina. Also In the diary entry, the random numbers is actually a user id which takes u to lina’s account. Also on the top of cages its labeled ‘Lana #001’ and ‘Lana #002’ and I think that Lana 002 escaped because there is broken glass on the floor in front of that cage, but I could also be wrong because the cage looks completely normal. pls like so izzy can see!

This might be long but it’s a Lana lore idea so…
There has always been 2 lanas that are twins and 1 got all the fame but then the twin got jealous so she locked her up so she can be famous but she ended up getting caught so she had to leave to not get found. Now they are looking for a new nail tech who has no idea about any of this or they know lots of deep secrets about the 2 lanas.
Then the numbers on the cages so Lana 001 has been there for ages but the 002 is new. 002 is made for the twin and the new nail tech hasn’t come yet as they are trying to find Lana still
Another idea…
On free play when you go outside map and there is that picture you have the meat person maybe they are working with a soon to be nail tech and Lana has been taken Abc was put in a cage. Somehow she escaped that’s why you can’t go in and out of it
If you put in the numbers from the diary entry it will go to a user called Lina and it says some stuff that might give you an idea of where the doppleganger came from

Here’s some more Lana lore: If you look at the top of the cages, theres a sign saying Lana 001 and On the other cage it says Lana 002.
I think that gigi found out about her plan to take over dti so one night she decided she would go see lana in her salon then she forced her into the cage because her chair is knocked over and nail polish is broken

My theory!!!!!: so mabey the developers knew she was up to something,hypnotizing the players into thinking she was the real lana.mabey bc she was glitching,they like poisoned her,or did something to her to make her glitch so it would be easier to capture her.they might have been planning this,so they bloxked of the secret room.and the cage lana is in says ‘lana#001’ and they enpty one says ‘lana#002’ so mabey they will replace lana, and trap her,or find the real lana….and she has shorts now,instead of trousers,so mabey the lana in the cage isnt the real lana just a doppleganger,and the lana at the desk ran away and they caught the wrong lana….(this is a theory just straight out my brain not real lore btw)

The Lana cages are also labelled! The one Lana’s in is labelled “Lana #001” and the other is “Lana #002”. She’s also standing up now
