    If we need glass slides I am thinking not for my five year old grandson

      Great point Eva Lehde. When our kids use it they don't use the glass slide as they view things outside. When we do use those slides, my wife or I am there to make sure it is used safely. The initial kit has only two slides (a blank, and one of fabric) Again, great observation and thank you!
