this game blew my mind as a kid . going from previous fifa games to this felt like a magical experience . they were fluid and graphics looked amazing for the time .

My first FIFA !!! This remind me my chilhood, i start with FIFA2003 (ps2) then i was playing too in my life, FIFA2004 (ps2), FIFA07 (ps2), FIFA08 (Wii), FIFA09 (ps2), FIFA10 (psp/ps3), FIFA11 (ps2/ps3), FIFA12 (ps2/ps3), FIFA14 (ps3), FIFA16 (ps3), FIFA17 (ps4), FIFA18 (ps4) and now i'm on FIFA20 ps4, i feel very nostalgic, time flies...

This was super bare-bones, as I recall. There were virtually no customization options.

The camera work in this game is amazing, it's actually ridiculous how they made it so good 20 years ago! Way ahead of its time and I think they moved backwards with that aspect in the further FIFA editions.

The most sentimental edition of FIFA for me. It was the year I got seriously interested in football, on top of the revolutionary game engine. At the time, I couldn't imagine a better looking video game 😅😅 Now I don't know how to play it anymore, which is a shame.

This was classic FIFA! before it became all online packs and man on! man on! where you needed to raise an arm to receive a pass from friendly players for the ball. unless I was playing it wrong but with FIFA 2003 you could approach the opposition press circle button to tackle or square for a sliding tackle and steal the ball from the opposition unlike all this new crap which is too realistic.

For a 20 year old game its actually very good
The old fifa had better animation than the new ones. I thought the old ones were bad but playing the new ones, they added so many moves which make player animation weird especially the way they run. This one was so simple, they run properly, no missing frames or slippery motion on player...something weird in the new fifa, i think the animation director needs to look at it closely, they need to play the old fifa on ps2 or ps3, and also they must play PES so that they can improve animation.
That’s because Fifa nowadays is running on a 10 year old engine wich was developed for first person shooters.

Kinda crazy how many nostalgia merchants are. I tried to play a lot of old fifas from 94 to 03 and they were all crap pretty much. No game modes to last, career/season was bad, gameplay pretty much bad. Maybe decent for those times but if you take any of those over what we have now ur crazy

2024 and all fifa player can confirm the game is absolutely dogshhitt all legends have retired and all teams are mid asf or absolutely washed and dogshiit. Here. The league is built around mbappe and haaland. Amd both paris and man city are mid teams without them. Ronaldo and messi are pretty much done playing in irrelevant leavues for $. I get that. But as a fan all relevant clubs are literally so bad i was looking the other day on fc24. My god i have never seen so many trash teams in relevant leagues in my life. This goes to show passion for the sport is gone.
