    So very true and valuable info. Clients barely understand what a conversion privilege is let alone how it benefits them. Add to that the awful options policy owners get if they do decide to convert from their bargain basement term policies.

    If you were really listening, they just solved most of the outset dilemmas and future headaches that most people face when shopping life insurance alone. Question Tom: as to permanence and guarantees alone, how does a ULSG stack up?

      ULSG products are not helpful when the client needs cash value and that is what we are trying to solve for.
      That aside, there is also more than a little bit of concern being raised about the risk exposure that these second guaranteed products expose the reserves of the company issuing the policy. Some believe that the lapse rates used on these UL policies are not adequate and even a 1% or 2% difference could bring about insolvency in the future for that block of business if not the company.

    Historical returns on the S & P 500 are much greater then those from a dividend paying whole life policy That is Why index strategies are so popular
