A Rouge Noir dupe? No way! I will never be without a bottle of my fave nail colour of all time!!! I’ve been obsessed with Chanel Rouge Noir since I saw it on Uma Thurman’s divine elegant hands in Pulp Fiction-one of my fave films of all time. I don’t care about high end stuff usually but this I cannot compromise on. My daughter is sick of me going on about it!
There is no dupe for “Rouge Noir”! I’ve tried countless nail polishes that looked similar but… No way! No other color looks like it! And I recognize it on other people immediately. I don’t wear it much - maybe once a year - but it is an irreplaceable classic.

Last time I found some Mac Factor was yess as es ago at TJ Max i bought a set of three small máscaras and they are great. Wonder where they sell it? I thought they were out of business. Also I think I had some brush that was good quality as well.
One of (if not the) OG dupes for Rouge Noir was also a Revlon shade 'Vixen', which I wore to death, so I got a real kick hearing you mention them. Keep this type of content coming!

I just looked to see if we have the Max Factor foundation In Australia, and it is available at Priceline for and Aussie subscribers. We only have 4 shades and it’s an spf20 - light, light medium, golden medium and medium tan. And it’s on sale at the moment for just under $20!!! Definitely worth trying. 🥰 I had a look at the Inkey List Omega Water Cream on Cult Beauty recently and thought it sounded really good. It gets great reviews. I tried a deluxe sample of the Drunk Elephant F Balm but I didn’t like it.
Agreed, Max Factor need to improve their shade range, the foundation is gorgeous but I just couldn’t figure out what shade to get so got one accidentally that will be better when I have a tan. Too much drugstore foundations are pinky toned
Revlon does have a dupe for rouge noir, it’s called vixen in their original nail polish. I bought a few bottles a few months ago because it’s hard to find. I love this colour. Looks great on your nails.

Max Factor was very popular in the 90s when I was selling it in the chemist, but mainly to the older generation. Panstick and Creme Puff sold all the time. It has developed so much, but I found it quite drying and highly perfumed, so I haven't used it for years. May give this foundation a try! Soph.x
I also completely agree. I used to never even check the max factor stand in Superdrug or boots, but I’m so glad I bought this. I wish it wasn’t so fragranced but there had to be a drawback somewhere xxx

The Max Factor foundation is $20 USD, but maybe it’s worth it for some people if it’s that close to the CT! I’ve heard some people compare the CT one to the new L’Oréal serum foundation, too.

Such a great dupe video. Your presentation is so thorough. I was all in on the MF until you mentioned the sunscreen. I just don’t like spf in my foundation. I’ve found it oxidizes on me, even the Futurist. 😐
Revlon does have a dupe for rouge noir called vixen in their original polish formula. I purchased a few bottles last month as it is hard to find sometimes.
Kiko had about 8 years ago a nail polish exactly as the Chanel one , I still have it and is still working well . Btw one of the most horrible nail varnishes I tried along my life are from Chanel . Maybe the changed their formula but I doubt it because all expensive products have only got worse with time ....
I'm surprised you got the same shade from the Max Factor foundation as the CT because, from the samples on the back of your hand, the Max Factor looked not only fairer but also quite a bit cooler than the CT.

Interesting that Max Factor's shade range isn't very diverse, given that Priyanka Chopra Jonas became the face of the brand not that long ago. You would've thought that was a sign that they were getting more inclusive 🤔
Looking at the Chanel nail polish was like looking at a magic trick 😂😂. You're absolutely right, in the daylight there was no difference between them at all. I've enjoyed the Inky moisturiser for ages, my super dry skin loves it .... but my daughter, with combination skin, loves it too! I've never used the DE one (I'm happy to take your aesthetician qualified word for it), so it seems I never will. The CT foundation didn't really grab me. I bought the Chanel no.1 foundation instead. Will I buy the Max Factor dupe? Probably not, but for anyone who really wanted to try the CT one, I'd say - go for the Max Factor! Darn it 😡!! Half of a hob nob has plopped, yes plopped, into my coffee 😫. I was being so careful and had a sheet of kitchen roll, ready if needed. Note : hob nobs plop very easily. Love you always 💗🌸💗🌸💗🌸💗

In my opinion i don't think the new c tilbury foundation can really be duped. to me it is like the flawless filter... but as a foundation and we all know how stunning and innovative the flawless filter is

You said thay Charlotte Tilbury has a diverse shade range but she does NOT on the pale end in that foundation. CT didn't do any very pale/fair cool shades. Thanks for the dupe videos, though. I like these types of videos.
I just tried the max factor foundation and I really don't like it. It's very very sheer. I'm used to the high coverage but light waight BB Cremes from mizon and missha. This foundation was just not there. But it sat very strange on my dry areas that I never noticed I have 🤔 I simultaneously tried the L'Oréal age perfect BB Creme and this one is really working for me. The shader range sucks though. I have light ivory and it's quite dark. But I can use it, when I don't miss out the neck. My skin feels very good after a whole day's work. Like wearing a moisturizer actually. The coverage is medium and buildable. I will donate the max factor one now. It's just not working for me.
I can get a good medium coverage out of the MF so that surprises me. It also looks great on my dry areas but your experience really counts so thank you for your comment. Every skin is different xxx
@@PamperedWolf very different yes. I still have problems to find a foundation that doesn't sit awkward on my skin actually. I don't shave my face and am very furry (light blond). So foundation has to deal with it. My gold standard is the snail BB Creme by Mizon. But the L'Oréal age perfect is a nice alternative for me now.

Essie makes a much closer dupe for Rouge Noir called "Wicked." I have it in my collection and I have to say it's pretty close.

The most important difference between CT & MF, in my opinion, is that CT is cruelty free, whereas MF is not. Beauty shouldn't be cruel!

You said thay Charlotte Tilbury has a diverse shade range but she does NOT on the pale end in that foundation. CT didn't do any very pale/fair cool shades. Thanks for the dupe videos, though. I like these types of videos.
They do a fair neutral shade but you’re right, no warm or cool fair shades. X

I just tried the max factor foundation and I really don't like it. It's very very sheer. I'm used to the high coverage but light waight BB Cremes from mizon and missha. This foundation was just not there. But it sat very strange on my dry areas that I never noticed I have 🤔 I simultaneously tried the L'Oréal age perfect BB Creme and this one is really working for me. The shader range sucks though. I have light ivory and it's quite dark. But I can use it, when I don't miss out the neck. My skin feels very good after a whole day's work. Like wearing a moisturizer actually. The coverage is medium and buildable. I will donate the max factor one now. It's just not working for me.
I can get a good medium coverage out of the MF so that surprises me. It also looks great on my dry areas but your experience really counts so thank you for your comment. Every skin is different xxx
@@PamperedWolf very different yes. I still have problems to find a foundation that doesn't sit awkward on my skin actually. I don't shave my face and am very furry (light blond). So foundation has to deal with it. My gold standard is the snail BB Creme by Mizon. But the L'Oréal age perfect is a nice alternative for me now.
