This all seems pretty complicated. Do these companies train you for the specific places you go? Are they all basically the same depending on the product? or does each place you go have someone that will come out and show you? Clearly you have vast knowledge/experience and can do all of it, you couldn't hire a new guy and say go do it. It would take a lot of training for just for safety and to know what you were looking at. Just curious😁.
They have a new guy in training now and he'll be there for a few weeks.
Most are pretty easy to figure out if you are mechanically inclined.
